davisal771 Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 Looks just like the real thing. I prefer this orange paint scheme to the old one. Can't wait to see the finished version!
Richard Posted June 13, 2010 Author Posted June 13, 2010 I'm not really digging the all orange track. I think painting the rails, the same as the supports might look better. Nah, I like solid-colour B&M track these days. And since when was Anaconda orange! I always thought it was pink and green. I want the ride to kind of compliment it's surroundings as well as standing out against it. I always spend ages trying to get ride colours right. I think this is close to what I want though. I'm trying to figure out how to build the station now. Kinda difficult.
mightbeawannabe Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 ^^It's not a recreation. But very believable! ^As of '08. I personally liked the golden color but maybe a bronze would be a good compromise. What would that look like?
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 ^I think he meant it as in it looks like a real coaster B&M would build.
Richard Posted July 8, 2010 Author Posted July 8, 2010 The ride is ready for it's new cartextures Here is the location of the waterfall, just waiting for some plumbing . I won't be using objects in the same way The Red Dragon was done, I really don't think this layout needs it. It's pure unadulterated force, I really don't want to detract from the layout.

AJClarke0912 Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Very very nice looking...your rides are like LeFlo's; very well presented. Really can't wait to ride this one! The helical water fly-overs are a great reminder of Top Gu...err Flight Deck. Without a complete overview picture that you've presented that I've ever seen, you concealed the layout to where I'm excited the see the final product not knowing how the elements are set up. Nice layer added to the logo too...makes the new color valid. All in all, going very well...which isn't surprising from the creator of Red Dragon!
Griffonluv Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 For some reason, this just looks so beautiful. The environment is just right with the color and scenery of the ride imo.
triggernel Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I'll have to quickly retract my statement about the colors. The orange looks great in its surroundings. I the enviroment, and can't wait until this is released!
Richard Posted July 10, 2010 Author Posted July 10, 2010 The teaser for your viewing pleasure. And from the video, the ride will be released on Sunday July 18th
themeparkman25 Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Maybe it is just me, but I could have sworn that most, if not all, of B&M inverts have a support structure like this at the bottom of their lift hills. I could have missed it in the video, but just thought I would point it out. cache.rcdb.com/pictures/picmax/p4328.jpg
Richard Posted July 14, 2010 Author Posted July 14, 2010 ^ Yeah I realised that recently, I'm currently doing all the supportage for Sunday now, the video isn't of the finished ride.
tiger01 Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Nice stuff! Love the scenery! That Cobra Roll looks good!
Richard Posted July 17, 2010 Author Posted July 17, 2010 Background Themed to a deadly viper from India, responsible for the most deaths of any venomous snake. Experience riding on a twisted forcefull journey through the asian jungle. Daboia is hindi for "that lies hid", or "the lurker", this ride hides it tricks in the thick foliage and attacks with it's high forces and intense direction changes, you never know what to expect. Ride Design My previous ride had it's design focus on the graceful, floaty side of B&M. This ride is for the lovers of the good old school force of the 90s inverts. Taking inspiration from Raptor, Silver Bullet, Pyrenees, Nemesis and Afterburn, this is not for the faint hearted. It utilates the terrain to make sure it never loose speed and the tight turns close the terrain and scenery can pull an excess of 4.5Gs. Download Notes -You need Track Packager to open this ride. -This ride was created using Newton 2 -Please download the cartextures and put them in the cartextures folder before riding. Texture 1 - http://www.mediafire.com/?94z62s4hd7i3148 Texture 2 - http://www.mediafire.com/?8fcys1l08ok6b70 -The best environment for this ride is the Tropical Rush, by Hzgarfield, the ride can be downloaded here, http://www.coastercrazy.com/track_exchange/detail.asp?tid=16562. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Big thanks go to CrazyCoaster, Ed and Loefet for testing. I dare you to try a backrow ride. There's an unpacked version of the ride here too. Please Rate Daboia.nlpack Daboia.nltrack Unpacked Version
DC High Heat Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 You shouldn't dare people to ride back row when you have 1.7 lats back there...bad idea lol. Good ride overall, some things could be improved upon throughout but overall very nicely done.
Reviar Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 Can't wait untill the complete POV is done. I absolutely love twists and turns!
4rturo Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 Great, great ride, didn't disappoint at all Specially loved the way you performed the flatspin, the first drop was very nice awesome ride overall Keep it up!!
Golfie Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 All the inversions had really nice shaping to them - I know how hard that kind of smoothness can be to achieve, especially with something complicated like a cobra roll. Great job on that aspect! The support work was also well done and the color scheme was chosen with a theme in mind. Very nice!
tiger01 Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 That looks immense. I love how it flows into each element. Nice old chool smooth B&M!
Reviar Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I'm still hoping for a great video of this =( Feels bad not to be able and enjoy it after all the good comments it has gotten =D
dmaxsba2408 Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 One of the smoothest NL rides I've been on in a long time.
Richard Posted August 10, 2010 Author Posted August 10, 2010 Don't worry I'll get a POV up soon. There's one in the wings I just need to put it out. I don't have the internet at the moment so I've been abit slow! Sorry guys.
