paintballer Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 Not sure if this is worthy of it's own thread, yes I know of the Youtube thread, but this seems to helpfull to pass up!
phazan Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 I could only eat those at Disneyland...Eating them at home would just ruin it for me
paintballer Posted January 7, 2010 Author Posted January 7, 2010 I could only eat those at Disneyland...Eating them at home would just ruin it for me Those of us who only make it out there only once ever 2-3 years, it's amazing.
chemical_echo Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 To me, ordering the official "make it at home" kit kinda defeats the purpose. I was expecting to get instructions on how to make it from scratch, not how to follow the official instructions.
RCFreak Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 ^Exactly what I was thinking, this is like watching a video on how to make Jello.
J man Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 I tried making Dole Whip from scratch at home once. It tasted nothing like a Dole whip. For those of you who were looking for the scratch instructions here are the ones I used. You may have more success with it than I did. Make your own Dole Whip!
phazan Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 The only REAL Dole Whip is from Disneyland... I think that's what it all comes down to lol
PKI Jizzman Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 I feel the same way about Auntie Anne's pretzels. There's no way you can get a great taste out of making it at home. I got the AA pretzel kit...they were okay, but nothing like the real deal. Dole Whip rocks though!
phazan Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 I like the Root Beer Floats you can get at the boardwalk in California Adventures.
Chris Benvenuto Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Well, I'll be heading out to California at the end of next year, so this is something I should try out if I get the chance. Sounds good!
