IStillPlayRCT2 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 It was confirmed by BamaTina, manager of DL/BB, on the SFNO forums. Can't post a link because I'm not using the comp. but if you want proof go to sfno.com, go to forums, and then go to the topic titled ''I spy...''. You can also go to the RCDB and look up Harvest Express Coaster and Dixie Landin' is shown as the new owner.
Airtime&Gravity Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 RCDB Link Definitely a nice addition for the park, and it looks like a ride that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. So will this be part of the expansion they are doing, or is this an unrelated project?
IStillPlayRCT2 Posted November 25, 2009 Author Posted November 25, 2009 This is part of the expansion as far as I know. It's in the parking lot so it should be ready for the 2010 season.
stingrock23 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 eh, it's something, which is ok. I still need to finally go to this park. 2010!
wiyoh1984 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 It's not exactly what I had in my mind for a "new" coaster for the expansion, but I'll take it.
astroworldfan1 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 YAY! Who needs SFNO when I have this! I'm excited!
cal1br3tto Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 I'm always glad to see a coaster saved, although I still wish I could've gotten the credit in California. Oh well, it's not like I'm exactly deficient in Northern California whored credits.
Sean Menefee Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Glad I have this credit, along with a few re-rides while it was still at the Nut Tree. For a family coaster, it's actually pretty decent. I wonder if they're going to stick with the harvest/tractor theming?
wiyoh1984 Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 It's a cute little coaster I can't wait for next season!
dixiestud15 Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 does anyone have pictures of the coaster pieces in the parking lot?
coasterdude2011 Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 The coaster actually looks very fun for a family coaster, it looks like Dixie Landing is trying to become a major player among the Southern amusement parks.
IStillPlayRCT2 Posted November 26, 2009 Author Posted November 26, 2009 I don't but I'm sure some pictures will pop up, and yea, it does look pretty fun. I already have my 2010 season pass so I'll be there to ride it
packfanlv Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 I rode this coaster at Nut Tree Park and it is a great family ride. I am really happy to see that it was saved!
The Alex Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 ...among the Southern amusement parks. Of which there are five! Well, that depends on your definition of 'Southern'. I really don't think we have that many places. Though I haven't searched lately so....
socalMAN123 Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 I'm glad that somebody is getting this and all, but I'm a wee bit envious, this would've been a perfect fit at SFMM! ---Brent
IStillPlayRCT2 Posted November 27, 2009 Author Posted November 27, 2009 I think yall(SFMM) are getting SFNO's Road Runner Express. And to anyone who rode Harvest Express, is it boring or is it a little exciting for older people?
wiyoh1984 Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 I recieved a season pass flyer today in the mail. Season Passes purchased before December 25th are $54.99. The new Coaster is being marketed on the flyer as well!
IStillPlayRCT2 Posted August 1, 2010 Author Posted August 1, 2010 I'm sorry for bumping up such an old thread, but I wanted to update all of you on the status of the coaster. It is now named "Loco Loco" and it is up and operating in the park. Here are some pictures of the coaster installed in the park with it's new paint: http://www.rcdb.com/8977.htm?p=0
