steven6995 Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Alright everyone... I challenge you all to build a single continent-themed Busch Gardens park. Continent options are North America, South America, Australia, and Asia! Theming must be done well, and rides/coasters must be realistic. There must also be a description of the park. I will chose the top 5. This is purely for your own entertainment, just bragging rights. The deadline is January 15, 2010. Any previously built Busch Gardens park can be entered. Good Luck! P.S. please include updates if you can..
steven6995 Posted June 13, 2009 Author Posted June 13, 2009 Sure, you can use any of the RCT series. I am very excited to see how people theme and name their rides.
Stoksy Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 Well, I reckon we've already got a winner with Busch Gardens South America by BelgianGuy. And Robmeister has made an awesome Busch Gardens Asia . I'd love to join, but I don't have enough time with school and all to participate. Sorry.
Thelegendarymatthew Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 Well I think this is a bit extream, plus you have no rules, template, or guidelines. Plus, I doubt any member could get it done by a deadline (no matter how long, not everyone will finish) Also, most of us would have to take up even more time playing the game, because we already run a park. I say just quit it, or retheme it to something much less intense.
DBru Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 Yikes! July 12th? Considering what you're asking for, that is a completely unrealistic timeline...
Lucius Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 How big/small does the park have to be? I may enter, I may not. Depends how I'm doing with my own park atm. I have a lot to improve on still. This sounds like fun though!

I have a lot to improve on still. This sounds like fun though! The park can be any size you want. (I would recommend medium to large) I don't like giving too many limitations, so people can use their imagination. I forgot to mention in the first post that you need to have a minimum of 4 coasters, with at least 1 large coaster (over 80 feet tall, over 2,000 feet long) . There also needs to be some sort of food court, or restaurant area, like most large parks have. I apologize for the unreasonable original deadline of July 12. I guess I got carried away.
BelgianGuy Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 Well, I reckon we've already got a winner with Busch Gardens South America by BelgianGuy.quote] Who says the park will be complete within the timeline he stated
steven6995 Posted June 14, 2009 Author Posted June 14, 2009 Hmm. So like, 100x100 or more? Yes, that is exactly what I meant.
Montupoopc Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 September? Heavens. I've been working on Busch Gardens Park for a WHILE now. There's no way to get a good one done by September.
BelgianGuy Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 September? Heavens. I've been working on Busch Gardens Park for a WHILE now. There's no way to get a good one done by September. I'll second that, BGSA took me half a year currently and its only 150*150 and its not even done
Bob! Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Then, the park would be ready for January 15th 2009? I think I'll enter, this thing looks great.
steven6995 Posted June 19, 2009 Author Posted June 19, 2009 Anyone else planning to do a park? I bumped the deadline to January due to complaints..sorry!
Leviathan Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 I call Busch Gardens Atlantis! Betcha didn't see that coming now did ya!
BelgianGuy Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Good luck making a park about 1city instead of a complete continent to get your themes out
Leviathan Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 ^ True, I might have to re-think my strategy. I think in that case, I'll go with Busch Gardens Bahamas. I like the Island theme.
DBru Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 ^^You could do Busch Gardens Fantaysland or something...and Atlantis could be one of your areas. Just throwing out ideas.
