There was even a family there today

 

Got there right when the park opened

 

 

The line got long, fast. We got in line about 15 minutes after the park opened and it had a 40 minute wait and the line had started to spill all the way to the bridge (was running 2 trains with pretty decent load times)

 

 

 

 

The soundtrack worked right this time, but the flames were off (still yet the get a ride where all the effects work)

Still one of the best rides in the park

 

 

 

 

Goliath was running 3 trains and pretty effeciantly

 

Apparently dont have a budget for a chair

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fell asleep in line for Tatsu which was okay because the line moved like once every 10 minutes.

^ Lots of good pictures! I love the incorrect shirt references. I saw an ad for an event at Knotts and on the right side of the screen is Maverick, and the left side had Tatsu and the SFMM tower. Does the GP really not notice???

I was at the park today too! The website said they were going to close at six today but they extended the hours till 10. Anyway, nice photo trip report!

From your trip report the place looks a little crowded for a Friday. I hope it won't too bad when I go this Sunday.

 

I too have yet to see the fog on X2. I talked to Robb about it at WCB, he told me he has seen it before, but it wasn't that great of an amount and you fly past it really fast. I thought I would have experienced it for sure last year when I went on it twice during fright fest.

 

I noticed that the online map has fog drawn on the ride.

^ they had it on at campout. But i'll tell you that when its freezing the fog makes a it a wee bit colder. But the fire warms you back up. I haven't seen it on since that time though.

I haven't seen the fog on X2 for a long time. They could improv it by having more of it. But even without the fog, the ride is still fun.

I was there the week after X2 opened and I did not notice fog. I remember comming out of the raven turn seeing a puddle were the fog machine is. That was either earlier fog or someone wet there pants a lot.

Nice TR! How come you didn't get a Flash Pass? Those things work amazing at GADV when it is crowded.

One other thing I noticed is that all of the employees were wearing the bright yellow shirts opposed to a few weeks ago when many people were still wearing shirts from years ago and some were wearing new ones.

I believe a week or so ago they issued it to be mandatory among all employees. ( Now lets just see how long it stays enforced )

Awesome, I was there yesterday also. I got my Vu and X2 credits, and might have evebn seen you(I was at opening) Yesterday was great, there were very short lines.

It was made mandatory & I'm pretty sure the "enforcers" included the shirt in their list of things to enforce.

Great trip report!! I haven't seen this view of the park in a long time! It's been a few years since I've been able to go so it is nice to see how the park looks from those angles, most ptr's don't show those views! Thank you!
