DCQ-coasters
Melbourne, Australia- City announces new amusement park located outside of downtown Melbourne on the coast. Local millionaire Ben Hill is paying for this project. When interviewed Ben says "I wanted to make a fun and safe place where families can go to have a great day at an affordable price. I don't know when the park will open, but it will feature some great rides, shows, restaraunts, ect. I think it's about time Melbourne gets something really exciting like this." And for those people who want to spend the night Ben says the park will be built right by one of the Melborune Hotels. The park has already started construction, but has no idea of when it can be opened. _____________________________________________________________ That's all for today. DCQ- Bathrooms.....exciting. The entrance is probably almost finished. Now instead of reading this on and on i bet you just want to see some pics. so yeah. That's all for now more soon. please comment DCQ- And a little bathroom hangout spot. More bathroom pictures! Yay more bathrooms! And an empty building... probably a gift shop. Well the entrance has a cool fountain and it's working.

terrancew_hod
Not to be a bother, but where are your rides? I think you've had the thread long enough to have something. I really think, at the risk of sounding mean, people creating park threads and only showing an entrance, random buildings or a parking lot is getting old. This is not fair to others actually creating threads with decent progress on their parks before they make their first post. Remember, there are guidelines on park threads that I don't think you met yet. I see on the Atari forum they moved your park back to parks area after the last update, so I'm mirroring the comment you got there, even if it's a bit more pointed. But I really think people should have their park underway before posting so that we don't waste space on updates between buildings and a few tables added. This also keeps the number of threads down where someone begins something and loses their interest after not creating much. Terry

astroworldfan1
Usually trees and tables are the last things that are put into a park when it's being built. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to see rides in DCQ's second post of Paramount's Jaspera Lake and in Palm Tree Gardens (the 5th post). Some reputation. Seriously, you make it make it seem like DCQ is Randall Duell (research him). -Tatum "Listen to Terry"
terrancew_hod
^Also it didn't take almost two weeks for them to show up. I still stand by what I say. Looking at his two other parks, this is nowhere near the progress of the other two. His other parks were pretty much up and going within a day or two of the thread starting. There's really nothing here to warrant a thread when the forum rules say that park threads are supposed be started after progress has been made... Oh and the "not to be a bother" part was my way of trying to make it sound nicer. I tried. Terry

monkeyoverlord71
The park is looking really nice although the car park is very full for a closed park. As for the coaster I'm thinking small Vekoma corkscrew coaster.

DCQ-coasters
That car park isn't the one for the park. That car park is the car park for the hotel building next to the park. The hotel is not owned by the park so yeah. It's a city owned hotel.

DCQ-coasters
Yesterday I got bored so I decided to walk over and see how the park's going. Nothing much has changed except a new building (probably a restraunt) that I found over by the new vekoma boomerang. I took a skyline picture from the beach. That's all for now, Please comment. DCQ- No caption. Wow it has two stories. pretty cool. Look's like a pretty cool building. I guess... Okay enough coaster pics time for the new restraunt. (probably) And a pic of the un-named Arrow looper. New vekoma boomerang. (I fixed the shwarzkopf looping support) Here's a picture of the park's entrance. Here's the entrance into the parking lot. Hmm looks cool.
themeparkman25
Are you using intamin track as support for the corkscrew coaster? Interesting supports on the boomerang too. It will be nice to see the park continue, it looks good so far.
