Worst Theme Park Websites

Recommended Posts

So I was bored one night and decided to go on random websites and I go to Fuji-Q's website. I clicked on the english link and when I went on their attractions they listed old roller coasters that they had as current attractions and new coasters were not on it. Their old double loop coaster and the old "birdmen" (now hamster coaster) were still listed. Any ways are there any other horribly set up theme park web sites that you know?

Its a mess FujiQ's site... BUT I have noticed this...

If you go to Google and look for FujiQ you end up at this link

http://www.fuji-q.com

which is where it all goes wrong for you, as that site (and the English linked subsite) don't appear to have changed since 2004.

But if you go to the Japanese link it takes you to

http://www.fujiq.jp/

which is MUCH more up to date (still looks a bit old tho).

You would imagine that the majority of the people looking for FujiQ on t'internet would be locals and so they would get to the Japanese site first off.

(i.e. its only us geeky foreign coaster-geeks that would be hitting the 2004 English translation).

Still, they should sort it out!

Dave.

I like the content on RCpro, but found this hilarious:

http://www.rollercoasterpro.com/about/jobs.php

So do they fly you in for the interview also?

Pay Allowance: Negotiable

Regional Representatives

My favorite part of that webpage

"Duties: RCPro Marketing Liaisons are responsible for designing and promoting marketing campaigns to increase market awareness of RollerRoasterpro.com and it's services and features."

I searched, and rollerroasterpro.com doesn't exist..

The Disney website is horribly slow-running for me, and equally bad to navigate. I don't mind bells and whistles as long as they actually work! (Cedar Point's Flash-based site seems pretty good for this, though; nicely designed with colourful pictures to distract me from the $3.50 soda and closed-due-to-drizzle attractions.)
