thrillrideseeker Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Well guys this is my new No Limits project. I have been working on it for some time now, and its about time for it to be released! Here is a bit of information about the coaster for you! “Kali is a breath taking new roller coaster coming in early 2009. Kali will be a coaster of epic proportions. With over 6,540ft of track Kali is sure to leave no one wanting more. You may ask your self what it takes to build a coaster of this multitude? Well so far architects and engineers have prepared approximately 1,500 comprehensive blueprints to guide the project. Over 300 hundred miles of electrical cable has been installed to keep this coaster up and running. More than and more than 120 individual pieces of track have to be joined together using more than 10,000 bolts . More than 10 miles of concrete has to be poured, and all six sleek new trains have to be polished and placed on the track. Kali gets it’s name from the Hindu goddess Kalika who is considered the goddess of time and change. Kali is set to open in early 2009, and will change the way you think a roller coaster rolls.” More information will come soon! Let me know what you guys think so far!~Matthew Transfer Track?! This looks strange... Twisty goodness! Here is the flyer for the coaster!
Kennyweird Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 Personally, I hate the theme, but the ride itself looks good. Can't wait to ride it.
DBru Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 I think it sounds and looks pretty cool, and the logo/tag-lines make it look really intimidating...
thrillrideseeker Posted December 28, 2008 Author Posted December 28, 2008 There has been a bit of work on Kali! There has been some scenery added in, and construction on the station has began!! More pictures and info will come soon!! ~Matthew Station work! OMG! More scenery! See?! Scenery!
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 ^^He probably made the station on his own, but the drop tower and rotovator/turkish twist are CS ParkPack objects And I would think this is a hyper coaster by looking at the length, but I first thought it was a Rocket Coaster because of the 5 car trains. (If this is a hyper you may want to lengthen the trains to somewhere between 7 and 9 cars, Matt)

As for the length of the trains... Everything is the way it is for a reason!! More updates to come! ~Matthew

thrillrideseeker Posted January 11, 2009 Author Posted January 11, 2009 So I am not a fan of double posting, but there has been some work done on Kali, and I thought I would share!! I am not good with all the yada yada yadaness of these updates, so here are the pictures! Let me know what you guys think! ~Matthew More work has been done on the station, and it is really starting to look good! To think all the g's stay green too! I am loving this drop! Hmmmm, and which mid-course drop is this? So here is some little island, but the most important thing is the g's. Take a look
thrillrideseeker Posted January 12, 2009 Author Posted January 12, 2009 Well guys here is a short teaser! Hope you enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUKLLg1DzOo (Personally I think it is better if you go to youtube and watch it in High Quality...) ~Matthew
Steffen_Dk Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Are you sure that the G's are all green on that small, insane hill?
dr.gumbo Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 ^ I would say so, considering he seems to know what he's doing. Back onto my opinion, I'd say it looks pretty good, especially the twisted elements and the airtime.
terrancew_hod Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Lookin' good! That small airtime hill looks nothing nice! Hope the restraints are workin'! Terry
rollerboy Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Wow, you have some serious talent Matt! I can't wait. Sorry for being dumb. Does anybody know where I can download "CS ParkPack"? I have done a quick search on google and can't find anything. Any help would be highly appreciated.
thrillrideseeker Posted January 23, 2009 Author Posted January 23, 2009 Well guys Kali is still coming along!! The track work is finished, but there is still a lot of scenery that has to go into the ride area! I cant tell you much more at this point, but I can tell you that the next update will be HUGE, it will be ground breaking, and blow your minds!! ~Matthew Each of the block brakes will have housing over them, just incase of an E-stop you will not be exposed to rain, or direct sun!! The main part of the station is done! The control pannel is still under construction though! Here is an area that will involve a lot of head choppers!!
Eric_Smith Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Ride looks like it is coming along great. I have to admit, I am not a fan of the roofs over the brakes... Just my 2 cents...
dr.gumbo Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 I like the roof, it makes the ride a bit more interesting than it would be without it.
