fdelhomez Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 This ride just looks amazing, I have to wait till Xmas to have your DVD, CAN'T WAIT this long
the ghost Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 That thing looks great. Is their any airtime on it at all though besides the drops. Is there any after the inversions into the station because it looks like their might be. This and sponge bob are still the only eurofighters in the us right?
DBru Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Great video! I'd never seen a POV of Mystery Mine, but this one is far better than I would've imagined! Still though, it doesn't come close to giving the ride justice. That drop off of the trestle is truly the most amazing moment of airtime I've ever experienced; well, close to it, anyway. (Powder Keg's first hill gives it a run for its money...) There is airtime around every corner, literally. From the drop out of the station, under the "crusher", down the trestle, back into the mine, the *big* drop, and into the brakes...it's everywhere!
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Wow, that was a great POV! I think that would put Dollywood up there on my "To Go" list.
dr.gumbo Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Great video, great ride (by the looks of it). Now I'm looking forward to SAW even more so than before.
robbalvey Posted November 24, 2008 Author Posted November 24, 2008 Ok, time to un-stick this. I hope you all enjoyed the Mystery Mine POV! --Robb
Pringlez Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Well I like Gerstlauers Coasters. Mystery Mine's got a nice theming and very atmospheric music... But it looks kinda... slow?
Electerik Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Well I like Gerstlauers Coasters. Mystery Mine's got a nice theming and very atmospheric music... But it looks kinda... slow? Well, it is, kind of. The first half is comprised of mostly smaller elements. They're still fun, but the real problem is that they're poorly suited to a ride with over-the-shoulder restraints. The second half works a lot better in that respect, but is rather short. I do like Mystery Mine (especially the dark ride parts), but it's very weird.
Big Mike Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Robb is absolutely, hands down, the best in the business for roller coaster videos!!! Second best is not even close either. Peace, Big Mike
