downunder Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Some of my friends and I have been observing this important day for a few years. I'm a traditionalist, as much as I like Depp's dress like a pirate and channel Keith Richards turn as Jack Sparrow - it's definitely a day to say "arrrr" like an old school scurvy dog. It will be casual day at work that day but I think a frilly shirt and the skull and cross bones might be pushing it with my reasonably tolerant employers.
Bolliger&Mabillard Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 I'm always in for a good laugh so you have my nod that all my posts on 9/19 will have a pirate-esque tone to it.
onewheeled999 Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 I always love this day at school. They give out 25 cent eyepatches and give every teacher a big pirate wall decoration. It's pretty awesome. But we can't bring plastic swords. I mean, what?
downunder Posted September 10, 2008 Author Posted September 10, 2008 ^That sounds awesome, the observance of the day in your neck of the woods sounds almost "official". Alas, I'll talk like a pirate but I won't walk like one, no eyepatch for me, but I have to admit I associate an eyepatch with that scary looking singer from Dead or Alive.

Mr. Starr Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Wow this is kind of weird, but I'll go along with it. In the meantime, here are some pirate jokes Why does it take pirates so long to learn the alphabet? Because they can spend years at C! What is the greatest pirate college rock band? Arrr. E. M. What do you get when you cross a pirate with a zuchnni? A Squashbuckler!!! HAHA This website is pretty much the stupidest one I've been on in awhile. www.piratejokes.net/homepage
