jarmor Posted August 4, 2008 Author Posted August 4, 2008 Who said we weren't excited? This coaster is looking amazing! Looks like GCI has another winner! lol What happened to the themed Eurofighter? Uhh about that coaster lol. I still have to finish it but i will after this one!
jarmor Posted August 5, 2008 Author Posted August 5, 2008 as always...more shots! These shots show off the enviroment around the ride. You have a snack bar, a photoshop for the coaster, an apparell store, a sit down resturant, and a restroom! I just finished an outdoor stage area and working on the entrance to the land! And thinking up something to get you guys involve in the planning process so stay tuned!!
Steffen_Dk Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 I can't control my saliva ' It is just looking so amazingly good, and when I look at it, it really annoys me that you can't build NL coasters in RCT3. And great theming btw.
Hand 0f Time Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Alot of effort into the area and ride. It turned out to be a phenomenal place! It seems reasonable enough to be a real ride in life.
jarmor Posted August 5, 2008 Author Posted August 5, 2008 Idea's just keep popping in my head lately lol lol. I really wish I could make theming of my owns then I would be estatic about NL! Well I decided to add a splash battle style attraction using the 3DS from a coaster done on coastersims.com. I think its more challanging to have to use someone else theming and make it work for you so here are some shots! I wish it was a way to have it actually work...
89James89 Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Looks amazing even though I dont have NL from what I can gather theming and buildings are really diificult in it and if so you've pulled off a really cool feat here. The only thing is that I reckon the paths could do with some fencing but that may not be a option I don't know. Cheers 89James89
Sasquatch Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Freakin' WOW. I soooooo cant wait till you release this! you must have the patience of a saint!
jarmor Posted August 6, 2008 Author Posted August 6, 2008 ^ I just get into a trance and start building then realize its 5 in the morning lol! Looks amazing even though I dont have NL from what I can gather theming and buildings are really diificult in it and if so you've pulled off a really cool feat here. The only thing is that I reckon the paths could do with some fencing but that may not be a option I don't know. Cheers 89James89 Its extremely difficult escpecially when you are trying to put the buildings in on an angle. Some buildings have like 40+ segments to create them. NL is like a CAD program where nothing is premade for you. Now there are 3DS programs but I cannot understand them lol so I do it the old fashion way. The fencing is coming along. some I have to hand make, the others I had 3DS fencing and have to resize them to the desired size.
Steffen_Dk Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 OMG you're almost building a small little park here
kraken613 Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Once again your update amazes me! I cant wait for more!
jarmor Posted August 8, 2008 Author Posted August 8, 2008 Thanks guys for al the comments here are 3 more shots...
kraken613 Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 I cant wait to get this and go and actually ride the ride and see all of this! Great Work!
dr.gumbo Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 My Frame-rates have officially been destroyed! Great stuff though.
jarmor Posted December 4, 2008 Author Posted December 4, 2008 update!!! river_03.mpg off ride river_02.mpg pov!
dr.gumbo Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Gah! I hate streaming videos, they take too long to buffer. Could you post a download for the videos or better still, for the ride?
Guest Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Coaster looks very nice but.... Well I decided to add a splash battle style attraction using the 3DS from a coaster done on coastersims.com. COASTER FREAK 11 Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Not if he got permission. Or at least gives credit to the creator of the 3Ds objects.

Well I decided to add a splash battle style attraction using the 3DS from a coaster done on coastersims.com. I think its more challanging to have to use someone else theming and make it work for you so here are some shots! Wouldn't that be theft? In a very simple answer...no. It is very hard to say what is "stealing" and what is not. Im making it aware that I personally did not create the scenery or am I taking credit for it.
Guest Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 I'd say stealing would consist of using someones work without their permission. Pretty simple IMO. Even if you do give credit to the designers (although I don't think "from a coaster done on coastersims.com is proper credit), it's still being used without permission. I do think the coaster and it's surroundings look very nice, but I still think you should seek the permission from the actual creators before posting pictures of their work.
jarmor Posted December 16, 2008 Author Posted December 16, 2008 Well how about this,...when you make something worthy of me wanting to use in a design im making then you worry...until then...all you see is pictures. I have not uploaded the track. And sometimes the track it comes from got it from another track that isnt around anymore...so what should I do about that mr. coaster scenery law maker... Even without the scenery I still make awesome coasters. I could tell from your initial inquiry you were heading down this path and thats fine but you are wasting your keystokes...
DBru Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 I personally don't care where the scenery came from, and if Jarmor claims it is not his, I don't see the problem here. I just want him to release this thing! (Maybe telling us *who you got it from* would solve the problem?)
