For being a brad new coster train, that looks like a step in the wrong direction. Companies like Gerstlauer and Mack has really pushed the family coster trains into a new level of comfort, and I would have excepted more if I were buying this brad new ride.

Still it's good to see the park care enough to replace it, but Plopsaland is also a quality A park.

New attraction (plausible wooden coaster) for Plopsaland de Panne in 2016

Themepark.nl, a Dutch fansite, visited Plopsa Indoor Coevoerden for a small meeting. They had a q&a session with the parks managers. One of the questions was if 'De Vleermuis' (The Bat in English) of Plopsaland De Panne will be relocated to Coevoerden (because the CEO already confirmed that this coaster(s) will be relocated in 2015). The manager responded that this ride will be located in Coevoerden or the park in Coo, that isn't decided yet. BUT, Plopsaland de Panne will be replacing this coaster(s) for a brand new attraction, hopefully, in 2016. Everything depends on the brand new, soon to be build, hotel in 2016. So, I think we can suspect that the new ride will be opening in summer 2016. They mentioned that it is plausible that it will be a new wooden coaster, but nothing is officially confirmed.

Can we expect a new woodie, or just another (highly themed) flatride? Time will tell...

It still amazes me just how prominent Polin has become in the industry. Glad to see their reach continues to grow wider with this great looking project!

That's pretty awesome, but then again this is Plopsa. Awesome that they will have this as well as the new cool looking water park for 2015!

Sorry, the outside slides are Wiegand-Maelzer (with the launch capsule coming from Proslide) and the play structure is from Van Egdom

Wow. I swear that I envisioned (imagineered?) something like this for what might be an attraction based on "Beauty and The Beast", in Shanghai Disneyland! Unfortunately, it now looks like this ride will be based on Winnie the Pooh. But more like the tea cups in any Disney park (circles in a circle), plus the added patent Disney applied for that, allowed the cups/utensils to go up and down as well and around and around.

The new design for encloasing the tea cups here, is brilliant! I just wish the ride was more like what could be possible. But this is pretty close. Hope it comes to realization.

It really looks like how I thought it would work, with more enclosure. And this has a restaurant, too? Awesome.

And it's not all cups and saucers in this drawing, too. It made me think of Lumiere, up above, in the middle, directing the kitchen chaos! All to the soundtrack of "Be Our Guest". (o:

New BIG (American) ride in 2016!

Plopsa confirmed (on the parks fanday and on facebook) that they will build a new ride in 2016. It's location in the park will change the parks feeling, says Steven Van den Kerkhof (CEO Plopsa) in an interview with themeparkfreaks.eu (http://themeparkfreaks.eu/interviews/interview-steve-van-den-kerkhof/). He also mentioned that the brand new ride will be big and will be build by an American company...

It was rumoured that it would be a wooden rollercoaster (GCI, Gravity Group ore RMC), but nothing is confirmed yet. Yet another Premier launched coaster (i doubt it , because they already have Anubis) ore anything else?

2016 is such a great year for Europe. Plopsaland de Panne, Walibi Belgium, Phantasialand, Walibi Holland, Port Aventura (Ferrari land), Kolmarden,... Can't wait!

Alan said RMC had three projects for 2016, one being Wildfire, so I don't think they are involved in this, as I don't see Six Flags slowing down any time soon!

I don't know much about the park, so I could be wrong. But an S&S El Loco sounds like a big project that is small enough to fit in the park without ruining the atmosphere.

A scary steel coaster with single cars, vertical drops, inversions, and a rather low capacity.

Sounds familiar...

^I know it sounds familiar, I just don't know how much room the park has to use or what they consider a big investment
