crazywolf88 Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 The Cavalcade-Galt Aureus A surprisingly good band that mixes rock and orchestrated peices.
Ed Farmer Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 Wake Up- Mad Season- the side project of Layne Staley's (formally the lead singer of Alice in Chains) and Mike McCready's (Pearl Jam's lead guitarist). Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains rank very highly with me, but I would consider this song better than anything either of the bands have to offer. It's the opener on Mad Season's only album Above, and I can honestly say that for the first few months of owning this CD, I never made it past this track. I would listen to it and then start it over after it was done. It's such a damn shame that Layne Staley isn't around anymore.

onewheeled999 Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hv0RIwdVrRg This is the only song on the album that I'm still not sure about. It's impressive on a technical level, indisputably, but it's just so.. weird. I understand that Devin put the stupid, vulgar humor in knowing it wasn't funny, but it's really not helping my appreciation of the song. And pretty much everything from 5:28 on... just, what? I mean, really, what in the world am I listening to?
Ace Of Spades Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Stompbox-The Qemists Anyone who's played a racing game in the past five years knows this one. Oh, and it happens to be really, really awesome as well.
