csikoth Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Which theme park inside the U.S. and outside do you think accommodates foreign visitors the best? Stuff like good interpreters, maps in other languages, etc.
Jew Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 I THINK what you arre trying to ask is which theme parks have maps/spiels/etc. in different languages??? Please make sure your topic titles are more specific and your posts make sense.
Team Thriller Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 I think probably all Disney Parks would have multi-language maps..ect. In Europe, most parks have English maps also. Hope I helped. --James
Groteslurf Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Depends on which languages you want people to be able to speak. Like James said, most themeparks in western Europe have maps in different languages (French, Englisch, Dutch, German, sometimes even Spanish & Italian). Normally there will always be employees able to help you out in the first 4 languages. English can be a problem in Spain & Italy, but in the rest of Europe you should be fine with English.
DBru Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 I'm thinking Disney... But Holiday World does host foreign events! (I think?)
BarryH Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 I'd say the resorts of Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando.
Carnage Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 But Holiday World does host foreign events! (I think?) Every park has a handful of events. Doesn't make the park "foreign friendly".
haux Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Universal Studios in California has maps in seven or eight different languages. And the guy who plays Groucho knows a few phrases in a few languages. That help?
upfrontjwash Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Disney Land is the best park that accommodates foreign visitors.
Bucket Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Almost all parks in Europe have various park guides in different languages, as someone said earlier. Every theme park that I've visited in Europe, the employees speak English (even at Disneyland Paris!) so I think you should be okay.
Homer Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 I know Busch Gardens Tampa has maps in multiple languages and spiels in both English and Spanish.
