kraken613 Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Alot happened last night and they are still working. Helix, and Zero-g roll went up!
Swimace Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Wow nice helix and inversion! The work on this thing is going along at a surprisingly fast rate. I wish the webcam would offer a better view of the lift tower though.
Sticky Nicky Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 The webcam won't show the overbanked turn/cutback either as it will be on the other side of the stairs, which isn't shown on the webcam. Think where Avatars train currently is on display.
kraken613 Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 ^ Thats too bad. I guess we will have to pretend that its like a normal coaster that we dont know how much went up every night!
Looty Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 Another Update: http://www.thrillnetwork.com/boards/showthread.php?t=41403&page=25
steel Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Man, this thing is going to be crammed in there. Did someone say headchoppers?
coastercrazed49 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 ^Thats what I was thinking. This thing is really coming along. It will be cool to see the finished product.
Looty Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 ^^There is going to be a 2 meter clearance from the top of your head to the ceiling when you're goin over the top!
kraken613 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Cant wait to see those trains on the track! What is the drop off the MCBR going to be like?
Looty Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 It's going to dive to the right and go up into one of the horseshoe turns like Mystery Mine has.
kraken613 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 That turn in Mystery Mine is awsome. It really cool how steep it is. and the quick transition out of it.
coasterlover04 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I guess they had a problem installing the next section of track.
bdstrom Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 ^ Nope! Looks like there was no problem at all. Hopefully they can move the camera to the right just a bit.
linearinduction Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I'm beginning to LOVE the Colors of this Coaster and the Layout! Too bad Gerstlauer didn't develop Trains like Zierer did for Wicked, cause this ride would rock with Lap Bars! It's going to dive to the right and go up into one of the horseshoe turns like Mystery Mine has. Like the Half Pipe Turns on Wicked?
youthink? Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I can't wait to ride that when I go there in August! I love the colors and the compactness of it.
kraken613 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I wonder how much past that zero-g is done?
Looty Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Update with more pictures from today: http://www.thrillnetwork.com/boards/showthread.php?p=745956&posted=1#post745956
bdstrom Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 ^ Now that is what we need to see! That "inverted horseshoe thingie" is starting to shape up. Thank you for your contribution, Looty!
CoasterNut17 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 ^^Nice pics! This thing is really starting to shape up really fast! I like how it weaves throughout the supports for the building. Pretty cool! Is it just me, or does that drop look like it's pulling out of the angle way to soon? Anyway, I'm going to have to go back there sometime to ride these new coasters. Can't wait!
kraken613 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 They put the yellowish things they put supports on where the drop wil bull out. I want to see that finished drop! Im really excited to see the rest of the layout go up!
