phazan
Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk was pretty fun, though I didn't get to go with my friends, and it's always funner with a group of friends...but anyway, it was actually pretty cold. Just not that far inland, the temperature was in the 100s, and Santa Cruz, was in the upper 60s! But other than the cold weather, there were TONS of hot girls everywhere, and that is always a plus. I don't know what it is about the boardwalk, but they are everywhere! Anways, here are the pictures.... Walking in, Hurricane! I actually never rode it, it's line was like 20 minutes long. WEEEEEEEEE There are lots of palm trees everywhere. Some of them were really tall! See? Palm trees' taller. Ummm in the middle of the road...freight train!! Double shot was fun, and they were really quick on loading it! Giant Dipper!! I love this coaster! More of Hurricane Looks like a nice sunny day from this angle!...and I forgot that manul focus was still on...ooops See?! Seagull wing! Another shot of...Double Shot. Ok, back to being cold. There was some sort of sail boat race or something out there. Here is some random guy that would NEVER get off this thing! He seriously rode it the whole day! WTF?! Double Shot again...it had a short line, and this was this kid's first drop tower ride, and he loved it so much, so we went on it three times in a row...and then a fourth time 20 minutes later!...in case you were wondering why I have so many pictures of it! A giant spider decided to terrorize the park while we were there. We were just walking along, and Giant Dipper was broken, and so I went up to ask him how long it will be down for and they were like "oh maybe an hour or s---Wait, it's open now" So I walked right on the back row! THROUGH THE FIREBALL Actually, Fireball was realllllly fun! It got way up there. Some random (and most likely hot) girls on Giant Dipper. WEEEEEEEE Some random people about to go into hyperthermia. Hyperthermia stage is setting in on this poor girl... Are you ready for some....CAVE TRAIN ADVENTURES?!?! ..I didn't ride it ARRRRR!!! Motion blur! WIPEOUT!!! This ride was actually really fun. It's in the dark, and there are a bunch of awesome lights and stuff...it's narrrrrly, dude! Giant Dipper again, I love this coaster! Cherish the moment where you can look at the sun without hurting your eyes!!! Some under exposed pictures...I kinda like how they turned out though. The fog just pretty much ate the whole beach...it was cold. So there was this random drunk guy walking around the beach! He was so drunk, every 30 seconds or so, he would pretty much fall right on his face! Awww...it's coming closer. Some skeletons sitting on a roof. Palm treeeees This picture makes it look warm outside! Ok, so it was time to go to this reteraunt to get some clam chowder (in a bread bowl of course!) FORK VS. KNIFE They gave us some bread. They kinda tried to be all fancy and stuff, but it was just ordinary bread IMO...at the front desk thing they had free match books though!! They turned on the heaters... And here is what I ate that made me sick the whole way home. I am never going to be able to eat clam chowder again for a while! But anyway, that wraps up my TR, thanks for looking! Loco
Nice Pics! I love the boardwalk, but only on a warm day. Did they just repaint dipper's trains? I don't remember them being those colors.
Homer
Great TR, glad you didn't eat at Panera! But dang, mid 60's for weather in the middle of summer. Al Gore, eat your heart out...
Axman
I'm going to the Boardwalk in a month for their 100th anniversary. My parents met there as ride ops when they were 19. They've been together ever since. My dad ran the Spider, and my mom ran the Scrambler. They would take breaks together and eat lunch under the Giant Dipper. After their wedding in 1984, they went to the Boardwalk for corn dogs following their reception!

Angry_Gumball
Nice pictures. Got me prepared for tomorrow as I'm going there. Yes, Doubleshot's a great ride with some nice airtime at the top. Tomorrow's supposed to be up in the 70's so it should be nice.
chaos
The park looks really nice... It's basically a better version of Belmont Park. Those invading clouds looked cool.

sfmman2000
Hey, around what time did you ride Double Shot? Before 3:30pm, or after? It is *very* rare for Giant Dipper to go down, but what happened yesterday shouldn't happen again for a very long time
Angry_Gumball
My longest wait for Doubleshot was about 15 minutes max. This was last year on what you'd think would be busy, the 4th of July. Tomorrow, both Man and I are hitting up SCBB and am looking forward to it. Phazan, it's too bad you didn't wait a couple days...then all of us could have met. chmilo24
I can't wait until I go there in a month, to ride my favorite coaster, Giant Dipper. It looks awesome and the new trains seem cool, or should i say colors. But did you eat at HotDog on a Stick, last time I ate there I got food poisoning and I went to PGA the next day and through up right in front of Drop Zone. And the hot girls make it better!!!
