Ohhh... Poor... She can´t bought clothes, she can´t went to parties, and she can´t F*** the last two days... and she is drepessing... she is special

I'm really torn on this whole thing.

I totally think she's spoiled and celebrities get off easy all the time and stuff...

BUT

At the same time, why should we have to pay to jail her? She's not a real danger to anyone, let her live in her mansion and pay for her own meals and housing.

We should pay to jail her because those pictures of her crying are worth every damn cent it costs to keep her incarcerated.

I also don't see how keeping her inside her posh house is any sort of punishment. She'd live better in there than any of the users of this site will ever live in their entire life.

If to a "normal" person this happens, they enclose it 4 years in the jail. But as her it is Paris Hilton, only they condemn it 45 days, and of this 45 only she fulfills 3, though then she stays in domiciliary arrest, is not the same thing.

Same justice for all! please!

Shes not going to change in jail though. On the news it said that she was getting ready to throw a party at her house later tonight, and the party truck still came to her house this morning to bring spot heaters tables, chairs, etc. You would think she learned from her mistake but I guess not

This is (to me IMhO) one of the most extreme uses of 'celebrity' I have ever seen used in legal sessions.

I am glad she is going back to jail.

I have known and have read/heard/seen other non-celebs (i.e you and me?) get thrown into jail or prison for much smaller 'criminal acts' than Ms.Hilton could ever imagine (if anything, lol) for years and years and years...

But of course this will go back and forth, back and forth, and poor little Parisssssssss.....

Eh. At least the judge was able to see through all of this sh** from her and her attorneys.

And - I hope she learns something. ANYthing. In there.

(EDIT: I orig. said I was 'admitting I was sorry' to say 'I was glad...' But the heck with that! I am NOT SORRY to be GLAD that justice is being done right.)

People say they can't stand the biggest news stories being about celebrities, yet they can't stop talking about them. I find it disturbing that people are getting such impressive pleasure from someone being sent to jail. I'm not saying she doesn't deserve a little jail time, but I can't take anyone seriously who enjoys all of this.

I 100% agree.

Would you rather the news devote full time to what they normally cover? Babies being found in dumpsters, people shooting other people, and sick molestation cases?

Yes, that is what the news is for. If you want to watch something light and happy, turn on a rerun of Friends.

that's not what the news is for, News is for News, not only bad news...

here in holland the morningnews always ends with a "good news story" like an giraffe being born in a zoo or whatever, and I think a lot of people go to there work happier, then when they watch news that only has bad news...

+ that people get more scared/affraid, because they only see bad things like rapes/murders/shootings etc...

but on-topic:

why is she so freaking spoiled! you can't blame paris, she's raised this way... she doesn't know any better, but damn when will parents ever learn that giving you kids everything they want just won't work...

and why does she go to a 5 star hotel that they call prison, probably the Hilton Prison? put here in a real prison

She is in a real prison, the LA County Jail. Right now she's in the medical unit. She'll never be in the general population though. They'll keep her in a special wing of the jail because she wouldn't be very safe in the general population.

She had the opportunity to pay money to go to a nicer prison, but she declined to do so. She wanted to prove some farcical point about her not being special.

She was crying for her mommy just after the judge sentenced her, and that's for real!

I hate people like Paris (ex: Britany Spears, Lindsay Lohan), they're always trying to make themselves the center of attention and living in their own fantasy world surrounded by their money. It's these kinds of people who our hurting our youth and maybe our society.
