Adam_C Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 I cant see Magic Eye illusions no matter which method people say to try, I just cant see them, and it gets me really angry when I try and fail!
Masked_Maverick Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Oh, a Sailboat It's a skooner. No, you dummy it's a Sailboat. A skooner is a sailboat moron. YOU KNOW WHAT? THERE IS NO EASTER BUNNY IT IS JUST SOME GUY IN A SUIT.
Masked_Maverick Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Watch the movie Mallrats and you will get it.
Adam_C Posted April 12, 2007 Author Posted April 12, 2007 Well... no... I made a post about magic eye, cant we keep it to that instead of movie references?
Masked_Maverick Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Sure why not. I haven't done a Magic Eye in years I used to be really good at seeing them.
OzCatter Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Well... no... I made a post about magic eye, cant we keep it to that instead of movie references? Not when I see something and take it to the next level
WillMontu Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 I've never been able to do Magic Eye pictures myself. My binocular vision isn't very good, but I can do some of those 3D/4D cinema attractions (ie. Spiderman, Muppets)
Adam_C Posted April 12, 2007 Author Posted April 12, 2007 Does anyone see the resemblence? "Brenda?" uh... we're both fat and have eyes? Apart from that, no.
Jew Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Stop talking about movies!!!! Talk about Magic Eye pictures instead!!!!!
masterofthematrix91 Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 I can actually do magic eye! I still don't know how I do it?
Fallen Heretic Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 Its weird, I can do them usualy when they are in a book or on a poster, but I can never do them when they are on a computer or tv screen.
sfmmFREAK Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 Its not that difficult to...stare. There's no real method, other than just look at the picture.
Golfie Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 I used to cry when I was little because I was the only one in my family who couldn't see them.
GMAN962 Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 I've tried, but it confuses me...I don't see anything. I guess you have to stare, and not try to see it. Oh well! -Mike
onewheeled999 Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 I learned how to do these things a few years ago. They're pretty awesome once you get the hang of it. And for those people out there who can see the images, I have no idea how the heck this one is done: http://www.parks.lv/home/ojarsk/mep_html/08.htm

Adam_C Posted April 13, 2007 Author Posted April 13, 2007 I think with me it's because my right eye is a bit fuzzy.... if I cover my right eye, I dont notice a massive difference, because it seems I mainly use my left eye, by default. I dont like the idea that I may not be physically ABLE to do them! :/
Kroger8 Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 Lol, I don't know, it takes a second to get used to it for me. Some I can look at and instantaneously see the picture while others will take me a couple of minutes. I just now saw what that one was composed of!^^^
USRoadTripper Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 The best I can explain it is that you have to look "through" the picture before you can see the hidden image. Think about looking through a window. You can look at the window itself, or you can through it and look at something outside the window. Since they are at different depths away from you, you have to focus your eyes differently. So when you look at a Magic Eye picture, you don't look at the paper it's printed on. You have to look through it, as though it is transparent. If you focus your eyes as though you are looking at something far away, you will eventually see the image. You might even try looking at something off in the distance, then moving the Magic Eye image in front of your eyes to block what you were looking at. But don't refocus your eyes onto the surface of the paper you're holding. If you're able to move your eyes around while keeping them focussed on the distance behind the image, you should see it. I can see Magic Eye Images almost immediately, and even have two big ones hanging in my living room to stump my visitors
