Update

Year 18

Here's a park overview as of Year 18

Anybody getting tired of shots of Sulfur? I heard it's closing...

...nah, just kiddin.

Tantalus hasn't roughed up at all in it's 6 years of operation.

Looking down the boardwalk.

No one really knows what this random island is...

I'm glad the park has kept its trees, makes it look nicer.

Hurtle de Zhambi is really starting to show its age, but hey, it is a Vekoma.

Oh yeah, Oronga.

Making it's way up the long lift hill.

Cool silhouette shot.

One final park overview...

...and a shot of Tigre...launching.

Year 18

Here's a great shot of the Viper tribute.

From Year 1... I miss Viper.

Here's a good shot of the second immelman.

I still can get over the size.

This could've been an awesome dive machine.

The new park logo has been installed to the volcano.

The park has a nice skyline collection. They do need more flats.

They could add some rides here.

They could cram something in here, too.

Wait, I think I see a flat ride down there.

You can get a good shot of Kaena's turnaround here.

More soon, the Year 19 Announcement should be soon.

Year 19 Announcement

Mount Hershey River Rapids

In Year 19, Hershey prepares to get soaked with an all new river rapids adventure.

As the wettest ride at the park, Mount Hershey River Rapids will take you through a river winding through a canyon, drenching you with every movement.

"We felt a lack of water rides after the removal of River Rapids," PR Manager David Veranda said, " It's a great family attraction."

The park opens for the Year 19 Season next week.

This ride gets you soaked.

The queue is the best in the park.

It provides some great views.

The drop is insane, it's a different experience everytime.

All the water....

These people are about to get soaked.

It actually takes you up higher than I thought it would.

You get some great views of Hershey Grove.

Soakage.

Year 19 Overview.

The park is growing once again.

More soon.

Year 19

I'd say they're drenched, but that's just a wild guess.

You also get wet during this segment of the ride.

The cool ride ops let me take my camera on Oronga.

Oh crap.

We're going very fast.

And now we are upside down.

The ride keeps its speed until the end.

This is where the Jo-Jo roll was supposed to go.

Flat ride shot.

Goodnight, Hawaiian Escape.

Update

Year 19

Another general update. Nothing big has been happening lately. I heard that the park is going to have their 20 year celebration over the course of three seasons, beginning with Year 20 and ending in Year 22.

The "major" addition is supposed to come in Year 22, and I've heard everything from a waterpark to the long-awaited hotel resort. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Will this plot of land be the site of the big addition?

Kaena Point Falls is still doing good.

I like how they've worked the ride in.

I don't know about this 20th anniversary deal. I'm real anxious to see what they have in store for the park, because they need to be looking at what's happening - they're running out of room. Hopefully they'll use what's left wisely.

Everybody forgets about the bumper cars - here's a shot of them. Sulfur's trying to take over.

No description needed.

Hurtle roaring into the brakes... This ride is getting to be uncomfortable.

At least the turn back to the station is still smooth. haha.

More soon.

Update

Year 19

More of nothing has been happening lately...

New lighting has been installed to the boardwalk, it was getting pretty dark in some spots.

Turbulence looks pretty cool at night.

Diving down the drop.

I wish they would allow cameras on the ride, it would make for an awesome video.

This drop gets me every time - it's unexpected.

Well, another pointless update - hopefully the 20 Years deal will pick up soon. Later.
