Sling Shot VS. Sky Coaster

One of my friends asked me if a sling shot ride was more scary than a sky coaster. I said no because with a sky coaster you must pull your own rip cord. But then I started re~riding them both in my head and now I think waiting for the sling shot to launch is worse than pulling your rip cord. So which do you guys think is worse a sling shot or sky coaster? Why?

Sling shots are very intimidating because of the launch, but the launch is more exhilarating, and after that, it's nothing too exciting. With skycoasters, not only do you have to pull the cord, but as soon as you do, your body flips completely vertical into a dive until the slack catches which scares the crap out of me. Plus, you feel much more vulnerable wearing just a little harness held by a cord on skycoasters. So yeah, I vote skycoasters.

Why isnt their a "I dont think either of them are scary but they are awsome" although my friend is so scared of the sky coasters he cant open his eyes

Sky Coasters dont do anything for me anymore. But I still really like Slingshots.

 

My first Sky Coaster ride really DIDNT scare me.. I was like 10 at the time and just wanted to try it (SFNEs.. but at the time it was still Riverside) I remember being a bit more scared the second time I did it.. As I knew what it did. But I now I dont get any thrill from it at all. I just like the view.. And if anyone heres seen me do a Sky Coaster.. They will tell you how bored I looked on them.

 

My first Sling Shot also didnt scare me. But it did give me much more of a rush. I still find Sling Shots to be the best of the upcharge rides.. With the Booster/Sky Scraper right behind it.

I don't know which one is the most scary, because i have never done one of those things.

 

But I know the next one will be the most scary slingshot of them all.

Skyflyers....at PKI when I went on mine for the first time, it is freakkyyyy being held up 175ft above the ground, staring face down....man when you drop, it is an awesome feeling! Great adrenaline rush!

I personally didn't find either of them particularly scary, but they were fun to try.

 

However, I probably would be scared to try this.

That could be one of the coolest things Ive ever seen done with a crane. Man, you could have some fun with that.

i would have to say that a slingshot would probably be scarier. it flings you fast!! i love to do the skycoaster's, they are awesome

I actually haven't ridden either...but I'd rather ride a slingshot because they look awesome .
