texashorns82492 Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 This looks amazing man. The best I can do with K'Nex is the Rippin Rocket haha. I tried making a custom one once, I spent like a month on it and it sucked. But you're doing a very good job. Keep it up!
Reon Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Truthfully, 1 seems smoother. Think about it. Option 2, you come off the hill and get slammed sideways, then even out into the breaks. On 1 though, you keep going down while gradually bending into it, then continue the curve as you come back up. Might work best if it popped into a small airtime hill, but still alot smoother overall.
Jogumpie Posted March 14, 2007 Author Posted March 14, 2007 I really need to show you the newest pics I have. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Video!
Timpowes Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Looks great! Could you make a movie of the complete ride? ;o
Reon Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 So you went two after all...I still say the other option was better, but atleast the curve is fluid now...
Jogumpie Posted March 26, 2007 Author Posted March 26, 2007 I have been working on the station since a few days ago. Â Â Â
texashorns82492 Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 The only thing wrong with the station is the roof is uneven.
Reon Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Dragster inspired, correct? Either way it looks great, and I can't wait to see a vid of the finished project.
Calaway Park Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 For keeping the station level, try taking those single gray pieces, the ones with one connector, and the hole in the other end and connect one of them to every single rod on the station, then, take the largest rod you have and put it through the holes on the end of the gray pieces. The pieces I mean to connect to every roof rod look like this: Â
coasterlover420 Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 WOW!! This is amazing!! Â How much did all those K'nex cost you?
Jogumpie Posted March 27, 2007 Author Posted March 27, 2007 ^^I have already added those. Â ^I have no clue, probably a few thousand. Â All that's left for me to do is to add queues and to clean the room. Then I can start taking final pictures and video (onride footage anyone? ).

Jogumpie Posted March 30, 2007 Author Posted March 30, 2007 Someone from Intamin gave me this picture. It shows the second train being removed. The employee told me Intamin decided to take off the train because of problems with the lift hill. Â
coasterdude5 Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 I agree, you must have alot of patience to do something this cool/complex! Great work.
DarkStitch626 Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 This is awesome!. I myself love working with K'nex and Coaster Dynamics.. Very detailed and good job!
