America Sings Freak Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 I was #5 untill they found out I was in love with Disneyland and themeing!
deano Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 I saw the show on Discovery, it was based on three competing coasters, El Toro, Kentucky Rumbler and The Voyage, the theme of the program was that the parks were competing to get thier coasters built first. Basically, it bagged the crap out of El Toro because it had 'pre-fab' track instead of the 'good ol' hand built track like Kentucky Rumbler. They said El Toro wouldnt be a smooth ride etc, etc... boy were they wrong. They interviewed the secret 9, but they didnt really have much to say. Actually i think they were all ACER's.
FLIPDUDE Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 I was supposed to be #10, but then I got mad with power and plotted to take over the world. now there are only 9. woouldnt hav e eben so horrible if it werent for the fact ACEr Joe is #4

Yeah, I remember watching that a few months back. And which one fell apart first?
USRoadTripper Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 I was supposed to be #4 until they saw that I posted in this thread, and they kicked me out for being too nerdy. -Julie
zaneymon Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 I was supposed to be number 6.9 but then they went with whole numbers. Zane "This was brought to you bye Zane" Williams
Real Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 They said El Toro wouldnt be a smooth ride etc, etc... boy were they wrong. Want me to pull exact quotes? It was mentioned about a billion times how its smoother, most technological and all that Intamin Pre-Fab stuff. No where did anyone say it wouldnt be the smoothest...I even recall one person saying it could be "too smooth" - absolutly nothing new with those comments.
pete4winds Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 I asked if I could join the consulting group, but they were a little "concerned" about allowing a savage Indian to consult on a Thanksgiving-themed coaster...something about sabotage and all that. Pete "lost my cell phone and peace pipe on the same ride" FourWinds
Jew Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 I wasn't a number because I agree with Nicole and thought this stopped being funny a long time ago.
