Park Residents

The GP comments thread got me wondering about the whackos you see at parks all them time. Like the infamous 'smilly' guy at one of the disneys parks.

There's these really weird people obsessed by riding all the coasters in the park including the kiddie coasters and talking about stuff like "beeanem" and "veekoma" or somthing...

There's this guy at Conneaut that said he's been on the BlueStreak like 300 times this summer alone. A couple of people here have mentioned him. He lives on the bluestreak. I think he sleeps in the Skunk Tunnel.

He talks to himself a lot.

At SFNE we have "the Superman guy". For all 4 of my visits to SFNE this season I have seen him there. Always wears a blue Superman tee complete with a little red cape. You can see him from a mile away with his huge sideburns. He always talks to whoevers near him in line, but he always comes to the park by himself. Oh well, he's having fun... I think someone on the site actually has a photo of him.

I just remembered, there was this thing on TV this summer about an old lady who visits Plopsaland (a park in Belgium) almost every day becouse she likes the "feeling" of the park, she doens't ride anything she just enjoyes the mood. It was her ??-th birthday and the park threw her a special birthday party.

During the summer I go to PKI once a week, if not two....so you could say I am a moderate Park Resident......I know some workers there, and also I have met some people there!

I know last year there was a guy that was at Dorney Park everytime I went and he had a watch that kept track of how many times he rode Hydra. He rode it over 1,500 times. Then on the last day the park was open he bought a shirt and got it signed by all the crew members. Also the most he rode it in one day was 119 times I think.

Yeah I've also seen that. She was like 80 or 90. Wasn't the programme "1000 zonnen en garnalen".

Yeah that was it, i watched the show alot this summer becouse there were like around 3 episodes or more with coasters or coaster enthousiasts.

There a guy with long hair who is always riding the Flyers whenever I go to Knoebels. I'm sure I'll see him at PPP again.

there this guy called elfman here in GA. For those of you who dont know elfman is this guy who dresses up like and elf. He use to March in the Bug Bunny Parade everyday. He has a myspace page but i never seen it only heard of it.
