Personally I like coasters the best but some flats are ok, I've never actually been on a drop ride so I couldn't say and water rides are pretty good on a hot day, but defenitly coasters are the best.

Yeah coasters are definately the best by a long shot. Drop rides are in second. Some simulators, like Spiderman, and water rides, like Perilous Plunge, seem really fun too.

I'll be fairly surprised if anybody actually picks something other than roller coasters. I've never met anybody who will travel across the country to ride a new flat ride, dark ride, etc.

I love coasters but I also love flat rides. Every year I travel to about eleven fairs that I go to every year. The Wisconsin State Fair in Millwaukee is great for flat rides, they have Top Scan, a Afterbunner or Freak Out, Gravatron, Mega Drop Ride (150 feet tall), a Pinfari roller coaster, Fire Ball, Hi-Roller, Power Surge (Zamperla), Inverter, and finally a Booster (a carnival version of the Sky Scraper) and much more! I love this fair. They also have a adventure park with go carts and a Sling Shot.

Definitely coasters. I have never ridden a drop ride, because I'm afraid of heights(which is weird I know).

Its not weird, i am too. but on the 29th im going to force myself onto dropzone at PCW. (same way i got over my fear of coasters last year)

I'd say coasters. No two are the same, unlike flats which have the tendency to.

The Diff being the Flying scooter/Flyers. Those you have a lot of control over and can alter the ride quite a bit. Also, the Tilt a Whirl comes to mind depending on how you lean.

What the heck is this! Flying Scooters should have it's own category. Man I'd travel across the country for a good set of Flyers. Unique dark rides/walkthroughs are a close second.

..Everything else is just gravy.
