viking86 Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 The beginning is almost an excact mirror-image of Nemesis @ Alton Towers, but I must admit that it looks very good so far!
kennywood!007 Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 That looks awesome! For No Limits, it looks very themed. I love it so far.
Worm Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I'm loving that but that supports look more like giovonala supports than a beemer's
Super Looper Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 So far this ride has almost nothing to do with the movie. The track should be set on a beach and have many elements go over water. The track should be black, or water colored with black trains. On the bright side, I love the supports. The layout from what I can see is ok, and the ride looks smooth. And in the begining you forgot to put an 'S' in 'begins.'
Worm Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 I think the location and colors are perfect! ^Have you even seen the movie? The flying dutchman's colors is very similar to this coaster and a lot of the movie happens on a tropical island.
Golfie Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 I made the first POTC:DMC ride looks awesome, though. Andrew "I want to have mad NL skills, too!" C. POTC2logflume.dat
Super Looper Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 I have seen the movie. The jungle is thickers then that, and most of the movie is at sea. The ride is called Pirates of the Carribean, not The Flying Dutchman. And what do you think of when someone says Pirates of the Carribean? I personally think of the Black Pearl. The whole thing is too green, the supports, track, and maybe even the train. Plus, it's the Carribean, and there are some jungles, but when you think of the Carribean you think of many islands scatered around at sea. The man does have skill, but I still think the ride is set wrong. However it's his ride and he may do with it what he wants, regardless of my comments. ^Why did you just stick your own download into someone else's topic?
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Leave him alone he can make it any way he wants and I like the way the it is, G-tec (Giovanola's new company name) makes some cool fieakin supports.
weeow Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 I don't understand how anybody can bash this ride. It looks so amazing! I love it!
viking86 Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 How are the lateral G-forces on the helix? Are they pointed towards the ground? It looks to be banked at 90 degrees, which is too much for an almost flat turn.
Billy Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 if you are using them, what programs are you using to help make the track?

viking86 Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 You should try to adjust the banking to keep the lateral G-forces. as close to zero as possible.
Guest Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 really love it looks really smooth and the colors remind me of the movie
