roasted_marshmallow
Hey all, quick question for you... Is there a way I can design my own coaster and include the terrain in there? Reason I ask is because I have a huge plot of land that is just sitting in the middle of nowhere, and I'd like to see if I can design a terrain coaster for it. However, to do that, I'd need a game that allows me to input my own terrain into it, and I don't want to go and buy all the games just to find out I need an engineering program instead. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks! Heather
kennywood!007
In Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 you can create your own terrain. Also its easy to build a roller coaster in. No Limits is a little more complicated I believe.
IwantRevenge
for a NL Terrain coaster First at least start the coaster and have a empty enviorment, save it then go to the NL terraformer and go to create terrain. THen save again then start building the coaster around the terrain.
roasted_marshmallow
So which is better to design in? I'm not concerned about difficulty, I just want the best design...
BiCoastal Kid
If you want the best, NoLimits is definitely more in-depth than RCT3, and will yield exceptional result IF you put sufficient time in.
CP_RULES
No Limits hands down.

PCW FREAK
Try Hyper Rails It isi'nt perfect but its a pretty good designer and it'll cut the mustard!
BiCoastal Kid
I don't know what kind of mustard you're using, but mine comes as a saucey liquid.
NitroRider
Scream Machines is also pretty nice and costs less then NL. wounded-heart.com
BiCoastal Kid
But when it comes down to pure quality, No Limits is the ebst public product, no questions asked.

TheKlockster
No Limits is by far the best. The terraformer in it sucks - but you can use 3rd party software. And what you can do with 3DS models blows me away!

coasterlover420
I'm sorry, but Hyper Rails is about .05x as good as NL in designing coasters and scream machines is somewhat harder to get used to (at least for me). NL is definitely THE BEST designer I've ever tried.
Golfie
Definitely NoLimits. It's only $30 and well worth it. Professional companies like Intamin and Gerstlauer use it, too! Andrew
