Twister II
I know at Elitch's, they make you keep your shoes on if they have a heal.
Rollerholden
No...they won't fall off. Â Edit - Actually now that I think about it, I remember one time when I was in line for V2 at Six Flags Marine World, some kid's shoe went flying off when it went up the back spike. I have no idea what kind of shoe it was, but it sure went flying far!
okinawaboy11
I've seen them fall off. I just tighten mine for that day that I go to the park.
benzo41190
Its kind of weird, but I tie the laces around the back of my ankles...instead of in the front. That way, there is no way they can come off.
lapseofreason
I know most kids don't like to tie their shoes nowadays, especially Vans and other skate shoes (I have no idea why) but if you DO tie them, maybe a little tightly, they will stay on! Â Now people that come to parks with flip flops... that's a different story.
ECZenith
If you can kick your foot straight out and they stay on your feet, I'd imagine it wouldn't be a problem at all, seeing how no inverted coaster really swings your feet out faster than a swift kick. Â My younger brother has similar shoes and they've survived B&M and Vekoma inverted and flying models.
Golfie
One time we were stading near Deja Vu and a battery came flying and landed about 1 foot away from my dad. Â Anyways, I had huge vans a long time ago that I tied very loosely that I couldn't kick a ball w/o them falling off. I only rode rides with floors back then... but I didn't have a problem. scottVishere
When i was at alton towers earlier on this year. I was standing in the line for rita with my mates and a digital camera which looked pretty nice landed in one of the nets under the ride! Ive never been told to take off my shoes on a ride! BorisTF
If you're that concerned about them falling off, and still want to retain the look that they aren't tied, tie them up behind the tongue of the shoe.
Zen Coaster
Nope. I have never had that problem, you will be fine
benzo41190
Or, you could buy a pair of Converse shoes for about $15-$20. I use those for skating and they are pretty comfortable.
