^ That is great news. Now before Vista decides it hates RCT2 again make another backup of this working Triple Thrill Pack version of your ObjData folder but I think I would also keep one copy of the Pre-Triple Thrill Pack ObjData just in case.

^^^ If your saying you have the DATs in your ObjData folder but the game is saying you don't then you have corrupted files. Your only hope is to get rid of the downloaded Triple Trill Pack and then reinstall RCT2 alone. Put the backup copy of your Objdata folder back into the game and hope that everything works like it used to. Go out and BUY a copy of WW/TT or a real copy of the Triple Thrill Pack and try again. The game(s) have been out so long now you should be able to buy it/them very cheap. Just want to put this out there, if all your after with the expansion packs is the ride variations you don't need to buy anything. All the rides have been converted so they will work with regular RCT2. You can pick them all up at the RCT2 Object List site in the download area. However you still will not be able to open any park made with WW/TT. ^^ I saw your PM before your post here and was thinking about what might be the issue with the Error Trapper. So I will answer it here in case anyone else may ever have the problem. It sounds like you have one or more tabs in your game without any objects in them. Every tab MUST have at least one item in it or the game will Error Trap while trying to open or shortly after it opens. The reason it is fine in the editor is because in the editor it is not "RUNNING". Go back into the editor and go the Land and Scenery section. You know, where you get to place your entrance to the park and make the map bigger or smaller, place trees and paths... Check your scenery tabs and see if any are blank. If so go back to the object section of the editor and find at least one item to put in the tab. Save your scenario and try to load it. If it loads you know what the problem was if not I want you to send me your landscape and let me have a look at it. Just attach it to a PM.

There were two other fire objects that I found also. A fire wall (animated) and a large fire ball (not animated). I know what objects your talking about an I have them. But without DAT IDs it will take me some time to find them for you. I will have to dig through over 18,000 items. So please if you have other projects your working on go play around in them for a day or so and let me see what I can dig out of my ObjData folder. Also there is a topic for this kind of question HERE. Sometimes it is way at the bottom of the first page or even drops to page 2 but it is the place to ask for wanted or lost DATs. If anyone else has the items and can find them faster please post them if you the chance.

Keep in mind that just because you are going to do a current version of the park doesn't mean you can't add in a little fantasy in places. Some times it's better just to get the current feel of a park with most of it's major attractions in place but still have sections that tend to go back in time a few years. So don't necessarily keep the Tea Cups out. If they were removed to make room for a current ride there is nothing wrong with just moving them to a new location. After all it will be "YOUR" version of the current park and you can have it your way. Looking forward to seeing how this all starts. Don't go being a hurry though. Quality over quantity always!

No, they will shut you down for not using it correctly. ...and your post is full of that. Yes, if you have access to another computer that is running XP your problems will for the most part go away. Don't get me wrong, crashes still happen. That's just part of hacking any game but they will not happen as often. Always SAVE your game before doing any hack and save it under several different names while working on it.

Well... I was wrong about the park, it is very nice but it is not what I thought it was going to be. It ended up being a Scenario not a park. It has some great Harry Potter scenery in it and a few very well put together rides but since it is a Scenario and not a real park it is not finished. I am not sure where the first post went. It may have something to do with the posting rules, I bumped that topic again in the hopes that EVERYONE will READ it! I would hate for any of the new members here at TPR to have their topics locked up or removed but this site does have rules for posting and starting new topics. Unfortunately this topic violated #3. I was hopping when I saw it the other day some screenshots would pop up right away but that has not happened. Now the first post is gone and somehow it has gone from MeMeMe's topic to djbrcace1234's topic.

Why would you have to change the build date for the coaster?, Take Vortex (name coincidence not important) at KI for example it was build in 1987 in the same spot that The Bat was built and used The Bat's station house. The Bat was built in 1981 and removed in 1983. They didn't do anything to The Bat's old building when they built Vortex other than paint it a different color. The building still has the arches that allowed the Suspended Coaster track to enter in place. So what I am trying to say it it can be a more modern Arrow coaster using a station building built many years before and still be good. So I would stick with your current older building styles and make the station for your coaster match up to that. There is no need to go all modern like CP did with Magnum XL2000's station and plop it down in where it sticks out like sore thumb around much older rides like Corkscrew and Gemini stations and various other buildings in the area. Funny thing about that is even after all these years and the addition of many newer buildings and rides, the station for Magnum still sticks out like a sore thumb.

Has there been of is there now any coaster that have the lights that run the length of the trains that Drachen Fire did? Always thought is was so cool watching it run it's course at night with the red glow stripe on the train. Seeing that close up shot of the coaster car brought it all back for me you if you look close you can see the lights. Drachen Fire was also one of my favorite coasters. A bit rough yes but not nearly as bad a people make it out to be. Thanks so much for posting that and everything else. I also wonder how much longer Shockwave will be at KD, I just hope it is long enough for me to get to ride it again. I really miss the KI King Cobra, to this day King Cobra and Shockwave are my favorite stand-up coasters and the only stand-up coasters I have ever had air-time on! They are so much more fun than the B&Ms of today. Yes B&M's do a lot more stuff but in this case bigger is not better. These Togo's are/were short, simple and perfect!

A Mr Freeze would be amazing in this spot. Can one of those be build relatively accurate in RCT3?

Really I need to know what system you running on?, Vista - XP - Windows7 - 98 - ME?, in order to know what to say. From what your describing it sounds like a Vista issue. In Vista just about everything works except raising and lowering. It will usually crash out. So when I see what your working with I can try to point you to where the answers are on how to get around it or direct you to someone who can work with you to try and get it figured out. I want you to succeed! , but sometimes older programs like 8cars are very unfriendly to newer systems. Also PLEASE fix your lack of capitalization in your posts before they (mods) shut you down.

Can't find a single thing in any of those pictures I don't like. The park is so detailed and yet not hard to look at. Something that is hard to accomplish in the old RCT. Looking forward to seeing more of the Suspended Coaster that is just hinted at in some of the pictures.

The buildings look outstanding robmiester. Fat-G, that is great set of pictures you have on the previous page, the only thing I didn't like was the extended Cobra Roll. ^ So what is the drawing all about? Something your working on for the Art Thread or a concept for one of the games?

Absolutely love the train ride, I would pull the land up in the one spot on the curve to get rid of the wood in the 3rd picture. It will help to keep the rides clean look. The station is very smooth and modern and looks nice, just have to wonder it a more rustic structure would fit the ride better.

It looks fine, just take your time and play it out. Don't be in any kind of rush.

^ Found a really cool Harry Potter park and it's not the one from RCTMart. When I get home tonight I will post it up for you. Speaking of the park at RCTMart, have you downloaded it? It may be more useful than just seeing the tutorial.

First let me say thanks for the kind words, as for how long it took me well... the download has the correct game year on it so if you figure each RCT game year is about one hour that's how much actual work time was spent on the park. Forgive me I am not at home right now and don't have access to RCT at the moment so I can't load in the park an see what the actual year is on the game. Also... WELCOME TO TPR! Happy you used the link from YouTube and checked out the site. Just a heads up, the proper use of the English language is very important here. They can be very strict about it so try to always use good grammar. Meaning, use a spell checker (if needed), always use CAPTIAL LETTERS where they belong and never use text type when you post comments or topics. Anyway, I will try to help you get things to work out but I have to be honest and say I have XP and everything works just fine for me. I have to rely on other members like braztaz to handle questions that have to do with Vista or 10ryansmith for issues with Window7.

How a site like The Mart with so much content and class can just fade away while other sites where being rude and disrespectful to other members is not only tolerated but encouraged grow in size. I guess that is why I like this site so much (at least here in the GAMES forum anyway).
