I agree with everything ^ said. Nice additions with maze and rapids ride, but my favorite picture if that dark ride, windows or not, I love the where you placed the station and the way the track comes out the front toward the path and back in. Just looks perfect. -

Hope you get a topic started for it soon. 10ryan, I like the this entrance just a little better than the other one. They will work very well together. -

Have no suggestions other than to keep up the great work, Love all 3 of the pictures. The one with the mouse and round-up is my favorite. Exceptional grouping you have with that one. -

^^ Think it needs a few bushes mixed in with those trees, congrats on using 3 types of trees that are hardly ever used and using them very well. I have mixed feeling about the small fountain also but I also have mixed feeling about the how white the other fountain looks. The entrance building itself is GREAT!, Very tropical. -

There is no money cheats without using a trainer, there are no cheats in RCT2 of any kind without a trainer. Don't know what you mean be the first question, as for the 700 park rating, you cannot avoid it unless you change the objective to "Have Fun" and the only way to do that is to use the TRG trainer available HERE about five posts down. Would love to help you out with this but I am still on an DAT objects search and and cannot currently use the RCT2 editor to make landscapes. -

Yes there is a limit, not sure what the number is but if the scroll bar is not moving you are past it. As for getting it to work again you just need to start taking things out. I am going to assume it is the small scenery items that is locked up since that is the usual one. If you have the DataChecker you can use it to figure out what items are what and then decide what to remove. If you don't have it you can download it on page 49 in the RCT2 help topic, it us under the ParkDat download. -

Here is your DAT. With this being such a common object it makes me think this park has not been exported. If you still can't get the park to open please attach the park to your next post and I (or someone) will download it and see what's going on and then post it again fixed for you. Attach the others also if you can't get them to open either. May be the same issue. RCFSUP2.DAT -

Don't want you to think that I have forgotten about this park, I opened it up to guests last night and am having fun watching the little guys run around the park. Don't know if you noticed or not but you have no trash cans available for the park, no big deal though in a park as small as this, I just hired extra path sweepers to take care of it. Will have more comments later... -

Bye bye cottage, you were one of my favorites for this park, so simple yet so well done. Sorry I haven't commented much, but I am on it now and I must say I am sad that 2 of my favorite things in this park are gone, first was the cottage and the other the Pirate Barrels. Oh well, progress always has it's downside. The park as a whole is coming along very nicely, look forward to seeing where all the changes lead. -
^ that is a great way to think about building coasters in RCT and for the most part it is a correct statement. However the guests in RCT really don' t care what a roller coaster looks like and the real guests (people here at TPR) do. So not only do you have to build a ride the RCT guests will enjoy you have to build one real people will enjoy seeing. Random example, 5 corkscrews in a row is something the RCT guests would love but most people would look at it like you were crazy. Glad you saw the positive side to my thoughts on your parks, was worried you would be mad at me.

You will need a photo editor to re size them, Hope you switch back to the closer shots for the next set. Have you been able to get Timberliner under control to improve it's ratings? An industrial log flume, never would have thought of that or how to pull it of. Amazing idea and pulled off perfectly.

What in the world is going on with this saved game to cause it keep missing data? Would love to try and get this working again from its current state so you don't have to go back and do so much work again. Everything you have done in the past month is just amazing. So sorry this is happening to you (again).

^ The ZIP works great. Now lets talk about your parks... after I pick on each on (please don't be mad at me for it) I will offer up some suggestions for your next park(s). Holiday Thrills, if I remember right this park was started before Myrtle Magic. I noticed you had yourself a serious case of the glitches with this park. How long had you been suffering through that? It is usually completely fixable, if it happens again please ask for some help. The coasters in this park for the most part were way over the top in size and all suffer from very bad speed issues. Very common for rides of that size, too fast then too slow. The parks buildings were much better in this park than the other one but still need work. I couldn't get a grasp on how the park was supposed to flow, it all seemed so just here and there with a little of this and that tossed about all over the place. There was one pretty good ride in the park and it was just called Twister Roller Coaster 1. I liked the layout of this coaster over every other coaster in the park. It was a great two part ride and that second launch into the curve was very cool. But like the rest of the coasters in the park it suffered from bad pacing. Myrtle Magic, I found this park to be fun to look at, while the building were much simpler than those in Holiday Trills they reminded me of something from Dr. Seuss. The small size of most of and how they were grouped together along with the use of such bright colors made me smile. Just like the other park the coaster were for the most part over the top in size with speed issues. One exception was Sharpclaw. That ride was amazing. You scaled the size of it back and it worked. Now if I can just convince you that, that is the way to go from now on your coasters will all be great. Of the two parks this park also had a nice flow to it that the other did not. Alright young man, here's the deal. You have the skills to make a good park... NO I take that back you can make a GREAT park! These are only suggestions but I do hope you consider them. What I would like to see you do is scale back your next park to about half the size of these parks. Limit yourself to coaster that stay 150 feet and lower in size. Work on the pacing of them so they hit the inversion at a good speed and maintain a decent speed all the way to end. I would like to focus on one ride at a time and really theme it out like each one is a mini park all to itself. Stay away from hacks for the time being and just focus on building good quality rides. Take some time and really pick out some nice basic custom scenery items and try using them in different ways all over the park. Finish off each are with some food and shops to go along with whatever big ride is near by. Anyway, I am glad you put yourself out there by making these parks available for download, it was nice to see what was really going on in the parks vs just pictures.

^ Looks nice but you may want to try and let some guest in (if the park is going to have them). Sometimes having such wide paths before the park gates can cause problems. So plop down a few ride and open the park and see what happens then close everything and watch them leave is all is good continue. If not, remove some of the paths and try again. -

The TRG trainer is attached below. Back in the days of RCT, TRG made one of the best trainers you could get. When RCT2 came out a new TRG came out for it right away with very limited functions. The best of which was the "HAVE FUN" option. TRG was never updated and other trainers like SOB (Son of Beast) and 8cars soon surpassed it. To this day the TRG is the only trainer I know of with the "HAVE FUN" button. What you do is install the trainer. You will get a desktop icon. Click it open and a very slim vertical bar will show up. It will be centered on the right side of the screen. Run RCT2 and open the park you want to use "HAVE FUN" in the place of other game objectives. It will overwrite any of the standard game objectives. Exit back out to the desk top and click on the vertical bar. It will expand outwards and the "HAVE FUN" option will be in the upper right. Click it and your done. You can quit the trainer at that point or keep it up and use the other options when needed. Now when you go back to the game instead of you objectives being Build 10 roller coasters, Have 2000 guests in the park by October year 3 or any other kind of objective, it will say HAVE FUN. All time limits and other requirements will be gone. and you can just have fun. TRGv0.9.zip -

^^ If you use the "Number of park guests" as your challenge with or without money you cannot close the park without the use of a trainer. Just as you cannot reopen the park if you fail the challenge without using a trainer. Having the guests come in the park is what starts the timer for the park rating. You must quickly get it up over 700 and keep it there. That is just part of that particular challenge. Most people usually just let the little guys in and plop down some rides, small coasters and food/bathrooms off in a corner of the park somewhere out of the way and let it go while they work on the rest of the park. If you set if up good with staff and amenities you will never even have to think about the area until it is time to remove it so you can work in that area. At which point the guest move over to the part of the park that is done. With the TRG2 trainer you can set the parks goal to "HAVE FUN" and then you don't ever need to worry about anything. Would you like me to post that so you can switch your goal? That is odd, don't know what to say about that... question did you use any trainer function like own all land before going back to the editor?
