Palpatika [Nl coaster]
xascher replied to jpdupuis's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Hmm... Well, it's defenitaly a fantasy coaster. If It was real, those supports would be stupidly expensive. Anyway, a little pumpy, but good for a beginner coaster. -
Those cars are so cute! I just want to cuddle them until I die

Simple question: How do I record G-force data onto a graph? Is there a program to do so?

Jammer NL

People also need to realize bias. Ive had times where some of my coasters were rated lower than usual because I didn't have a certain element, or I use scaffolding, blah blah blah. Also, sometimes you'll get five newbs rate your coasters 10, and other times you'll get harsh, or realistic people to rate your ride. It just depends on WHO rates it, not the site it is rated on. What makes a rough coaster?
xascher replied to spacemtfan's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^agreed, Plus, personal roughness, can also depend on the person riding the coaster. Ive ridden quite a few boomerangs, and I wouldn't call them rough, but the 'family' vekoma inverts kill me. -

Question, Do Vekoma Flying Dutchman's use a hydraulic, or pneumatic, system to hold the cars back, or is it a latching system, or both. I always would have picured it to have a hydraulic pull back/push up system, then some type of "hook" ti secure it. Clarify? -

Also, probably one of the worst things you can have on a coaster, is badly connected track. Some transportable roller coasters are notorious for having small gaps in between the track sections, and with smaller wheels, their that more painfull. Ive been on one that had gaps that were about 2cm in places. May not sound like much, but a 1cm gap, going at 20mph=pain! -

Blackwater Park
xascher replied to xascher's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Yay Update!!! Ive added a B&M *again* stand-up coaster, called Rattler. Along with a bit more theming for the mechanical area. And a Go-karts track. PS: I'm going to be working on moving the mechanical area back, and expanding it a bit. Along with adding more theming to the Dive Machine, but the layout will not change. An Overview of the park so far Rattler -
Dynamite Dunes

Wow, but that park probably has ALL of my RCT pet peeves. Uneven lifts, akward drops. Which would probably explain why I can't cram costers into a park like you -
My First Coaster!!!
xascher replied to thrillrideseeker's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I thought is was a very realistic, and safe design to start with. Simple, but you added some nice artistic touches. Though I would have done something more adventerous, I have nothing bad to say about your coaster. A very safe, and simple design, without a single flaw. -
I must say, that 300, is a production that was born to be viewed in IMAX. The amazing, and quite original cinematography looked all the more beautiful on such a large screen. 300 is a film, that is as beautiful as a painting, from beginning to end. Every part of the film meshed together to create a very emotional picture. A must see!

Blackwater Park
xascher replied to xascher's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
^ Ouch ><; PS: desert blast uses two seperate launched lift hills Anyway, UPDATE!!! Ive finished another small section of the park, just a mechanical themed area with two rides. The space behind which, I will use for one of the parks largest coasters, the name of which I have not thought of, but it will be a woodie! Not very much scenery in the mechanical area right now... -
Oh thank god this thread is here! Ok, time to start my rant, which has been pressure cooked in this ignorant Mormon #ellhole for the past week. Trust me, I have nothing against the Mormon religion, or Mormons, mostly due to the fact that I am Mormon. But here in northern Utah, everyone has their heads shoved up their A$$ with their own holyness that they forget how stuck up and terrirble they are acting to others. And thus it begins, *cues dramatic music* 1) One of my best friends "" Is being put through so much crap because he's not Mormon. People are shoving Books of Mormon into his locker, hoping to "purify" him. Now, I may be wrong, but Christians, *this means Mormons* are taught to help the sinners into the light. Since when is being in another religion a sin!? Recently, someone, the blond, "goodie goodie daddy's girl" type of @(%*(@*^*%*^Y*(^ *ranting* Called my friend a "Evil satan worshiper who has no choice but to rot in hell!" after he wouldn't take a religious book from her. Before you get stereotype, I'll tell you this, this is mostly in northern Utah, southern Utah, AKA the place in Utah where the non-mormon to mormon population is greater than .001% people are far less ignorant and rude. But in my "peacfull" holy town of Orem, I'm bashing my head against my monitor as I rant about it. 2) I have been sent to the office of my school THREE TIMES! After people spreaded rumours about me drinking alcohol. This was in order to keep me from drinking Dr. Pepper, and other caffinated drinks. Since everyone here, thinks that caffeine is an addicting drug that kills people. Yes they are that paranoid because the Mormon "prophet" said for us to not drink caffiene, that it alters the mind. But let me tell you something, when I drink caffiene, I know it alters my mind, and I LIKE IT!!! 3) My familly has stopped going to church, due to the stated above ignorance, nad how horrible our neighbors are treating others, and out familly. *that also has to do with the caffeine thing* Since then people have started speading rumours about my family. Saying that we are crackheads and inbred freaks. Who has the right to do that!?!?!? Our entire familly is being looked at by the police, because of the rumours. Plus, must cops in my area, are the worst kind of horrible. They find ways to give you fines, claiming its one thing, but everyone knows its just a rumour, or "divine punishment". GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Heres a park I started, with its rather eccentric entrance, with an interesting fountain/waterfall that flows right in front of you. The only thing I've finished is the first section of the midway, and my western themed Mine Town, Just left of the entrance plaza, with three rides. A ferris Wheel, Mini Train, and B&M Twister. Mine Town, here you can see Desert Blast's (B&M) layout pretty well. Yay entrance pic!

RCT3 in Linux
xascher replied to nathanhillinbl's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Linux is a PC operating system. Like windows. One could describe linux, as the best of OsX with the best of Windows XP. Sorry if its bland, got to Novells site to learn about SUSE linux. PS: there are many different types of Linux's, most are free, but updates cost money, or vice versa. -

So, got NL back up on my computer, and I have decided on a new car design. This one uses a blooming cherry blossom, over a white backdrop, on the car's sides. Chire
