I rode it twice (forward and backwards) and that was enough for me. I call it the "Grunt Lantern" because of the noises the riders (including myself) make.

Goliath came out a few months before Millennium Force. Goliath is soooo much better. I'm sure it will be amazing since its Magic Mountain.

Thanks Ernie, I did that search before. I just thought I was missing something here. Everyone seems to have an opinion on them, and I was feeling left out... We'll see if this changes.

Help me out here guys. I'm feeling really stupid. Are there any Mega Lite coasters here in the US? If so what are their names? I'm not sure if I've even been on one here. I've not done any coasters outside the US.

You don't buy tickets for Coastermania. This is the way it's always been. You need a Cedar Point entry method (day ticket, season pass etc.), and show proof of membership in a coaster club - like TPR. That's the way it's always been -- NO CHARGE!!! IMHO the best thing about Cedar Point.

I agree with you "Sir C." I'm not a fan of Kingda Krap. Yes, I too like the new version of Supe better than K.K. In fact of the 3 U.S. Intamin cable launch coasters (K.K., Dragster, Xcel.) I've ridden, I like Xcelerator the best. I can do multiple reps all day (I can't wait for WCB), and still enjoy it the most.

NL's Family Vacation is one of my favorite movies and every time I visit the park I always think of "Walley World." Moose says no, I say yes...

I agree, I love Colossus a lot more than Ghostrider. Even after its maintenance , Ghostrider is still very rough in my opinion. I always think of the movie N.L. Vacation when I ride Colossus.

I wonder why it's only one day this year? That's the way it used to be years ago. Glad too see we still get free food!! I figured that would change this year. Just an extraordinary event especially since it's free with a season pass and tpr membership.

I have the original music on my iPod for the Riddler's station. When I'm working out and it comes on, I think of this ride - my favorite stand up coaster.

I agree here too. The best ride I got on Colossus was right after it's "rehab" early last year. Everytime I ride it I think of the movie National Lampoon Vacation and "Wally World!" Yes, Colossus could use a little work, but I other things need more attention at the Mountain.

You are correct. It was May of 2007 when Maverick opened. I'm speaking of coasters only, not str or windseeker.

I voted for Xcelerator. I can do multiple reps on this Intamin. I've ridden this one 62 times in 1 day , and it wasn't a full day. The others not so much.

I agree Kinzel was great in his day. Unfortunately, his day has long since past. He needed to retire years ago. May he enjoy his time off, and can reflect on all he did for Cedar Point and Cedar Fair. I have high hopes for Matt O.

I rode it twice last Friday for the first time. I call it the "Grunt Lantern" because of the way it made me feel and the noise I made while riding it. I was riding with a friend and he was grunting too... I now have the ride credit so I'm good.

I've only been on the "bad train" by your definition. I rarely ride X2 on any visit. I know, that leaves more room for you guys that love it. I've found it to be rough. The Tatsu platform has a timer. You just must have missed it.

It sure needs something! Either the "NTAG treatment" or rip it down!
