See this is what I have such an issue with!!!!! So either the staff is talking behind the presidents back or the president is completely clueless!?!? Which is it? Both are pretty bad, and I have to err on the side of president being clueless, it's kind of sad. The only thing that was disappointing with WCB at Knotts, was the president. He looked really "put out" about being there for us. My opinion - very unimpressive! I hope I'm wrong.

I guess it's just me, but I can't understand all the excitement over lightning. I guess I'm just an adrenaline junkie, but yet another year with out a new coaster. HO Hum.... -
I was at the mountain today, and it was a good day for rides. I was on the first train dispatched for Tatsu all by myself in the front row. I couldn't believe they sent a train with only me on it! Who says they don't care about their customers. I didn't see much progress since Monday on the Superman tower, or (I'm guessing) the new 2013 ride. The old Log Jammer area is cleared out / graded, and they've put plastic on the slope away from the Goldrusher track. I did notice several "I beams" off to the side of "Pocky's" lift hill. They not very large, but they weren't there on Monday. Maybe some "pieces parts" for Lex?The Jet Stream boats are near these I beams. I also saw some new steel platform pieces within Riddler on the asphalt. Lastly, the construction wall for Lex now has pictures of the ride on it. Looks good...

I was at KBF yesterday - Wednesday. As he stated at WCB - Raffy (I'm not a fan) is making his mark on the park. The morning close in parking (just past Fridays) was closed yesterday to install planters. He seems focused on the superficial and missing the real park needs. They're putting in planters, so you cannot get to that lot. All parking traffic must pass to the lot on the east side of Beach. IMO with him at the helm (park president) I don't hold out a lot of hope for this park.

Needless to say I'm a big 6 Flags fan especially Magic Mountain - my favorite park. No way would either Intamin or 6 Flags (especially corporate) let this ride just be clamped on to the Superman tower. I wasn't at the M.M. portion of WCB, but I'm sure the statement was misunderstood about it's installation.

In 2010 I used it many times during my visits in July. I'm always by myself, so it was perfect for me, plus fills the train. -

A year ago 2010, that was a single rider line. -
You mean this tunnel? The Tunnel basically goes under the Laughing Dragon as shown in red. The "Tunnel Station" Metro queue can still be seen walking down the back-side of the hill from Superman to Gold Rusher. About 1/2 way down. One other thing I noticed at Magic Mountain today. If you look to the left of the tunnel "on the backside hill from Superman" several large trees have been removed too. The placement of these removed trees (stumps still visible) are in an odd location. Not sure what this is about, but also part of this project.

I was at the Mountain today too. Yes, there were 2 guys on the lift working on the Superman structure just above the lowest set of red aviation lights on the tower. They were pounding, grinding and welding today. They were working several flights about the reach of the power lift / crane. Something is starting...
