Technically, yes. He got moved to the corporate office first as "director of project management office" and currently serves as "corporate VP of information systems." However, it is probably not a coincidence those jobs are "behind the scenes" jobs as opposed to something higher up in the operations side of things. Thanks for the update on Jay. I've always been a big fan! That's a shame they're not using his "people skills" at corporate. That's a big mistake! I'm glad at least he's still at 6 Flags. Just a great guy, based on all my experiences / observations.

The" new guy" is a woman - The Ice Queen aka Bonnie Rabjon. I may have spelled her name incorrectly, but the got the "Ice Queen" correct. When I finally used my VIP tour my party and our guide were walking to ride Scream first. I asked the guide if the park manager was there (out of curiosity) and shes like "Oh we just passed her." I just found it weird she wouldn't at least say hi to the two VIP groups that were there. (saw a second VIP group going on Batman.) This is exactly why I call her the "ICE QUEEN." She doesn't speak with guests, and for that manner any male employees. Not a good attitude for being in the "people business."

^ I was speaking of my favorite ride in the park Blue Streak being 50 next season. You could see it on the video which was shooting Raptor. I understand your confusion on my remark. Blue Streak is the oldest ride in the park. -

^ Yes I did notice it on the Raptor shot. It's a great ride! Next year will be it's 50 birthday. I hope they do something special for it. -

Didn't mean to be too abusive. It's just one of those days. An extra inch in a lot of things in life would help... -

I'm glad I'm not at Cedar Point today. Not a nice picture and I'm sure most of the rides aren't running right now. Very Moist -

I think that's a accurate analysis of the GateKeeper restraints. I was at the Point for the past several days including Coastermania. That was the reason for my visit. Over the past several days I rode GateKeeper 10 times ( nothing compared to you media day maniacs), and it hurt every time except the first ride. It was always my first ride(s) of the day, so not a good start. I was on both sides although the inside seat (not as much fun) seemed to clamp down less. I'm 6' and 160 pounds. My collar bone is still sore this morning. I do like the ride a lot, but I guess I need to wear football pads for my visit in August. I a big B&M fan, but this is the first one that has hurt me. -

Coastermania = Unreal! Yesterday Friday 6/7 was Coastermania at the Point. The weather sucked (nothing C.P. could do about), the Muffleheads were out in masse. I do enjoy GateKeeper, but after 10 rides in the last 2 days, my clavicle is very sore. I don't know how some of you were able to ride it many times. I think I just need to wear football pads to enjoy more reps. Morning ERT was great, and I'm sure the evening was good too. I didn't attend because I was exhausted. Free lunch was amazing as usual: Brats, Mac & cheese, pasta barbeque and ice cream for desert. The most unbelievable thing of this event was the gifts we all received. Each of us received a special edition CoasterMania / GateKeeper 2013 pin - very nice touch! The amazing gift was a GateKeeper fleece jacket. This jacket is being sold in the gift shop for $39.95. All I can say is -- very generous! I'm amazed every year that this major event comes to us at no charge, especially with these mementos. -

Absolutely! I've never missed it since it's beginning. Great event, just too many people. That sort of ruins ERT... -

SRB - Single Rider Bob is a good guy. I've talked with him many times over the years. I stay away from the MF guy. If you're close, he's dangerous with his motions. Good to watch from afar. -

Matt Ouimet (CEO & President of Cedar Fair) was on CNBC - Mad Money yesterday. He replaced (you know) Big Dick Kinzel. Matt Ouimet had a live interview with Jim Cramer yesterday on Mad Money. He was there live, and sporting a tan??? I'm sure that's not a Sandusky tan. I know he had a place (maybe still) in LA. He said in spite of the bad weather for opening day at CP, they had their best opening weekend ever! I guess Gatekeeper has done the trick. I'm a shareholder in Cedar Fair (FUN), and it pays a great dividend and continues to climb in value. He also said their first quarter (winter) was good because of Knotts Berry Farm. That's their only park open during the winter. He also reference Knotts as being the first of their parks to extend the season beyond Labor Day with special Halloween events which have migrated to most of their parks. This is very profitable for the company. He was very upbeat on the park and the company. Jim Cramer agreed. One a separate note, Big Dick Kinzel is retiring from the board. -

I like that new term "Key-holing." Another new word from TPR! Rob I can't believe I'm saying this as a fellow Floridian, but I'm envious of you being in Cleveland right now! I grew up there and the weather this time of year is normally poor at best. Did you find the "Key Master" by the Gatekeeper? -- Ghost-busters movie. -

BTW. I see PointBuzz is having live coverage of the GateKeeper event. That should be interesting. I guess the next best thing if you can't be there in person. -

I hear what you're saying. I don't like to think when I ride. I love to have my arms up, and let the coaster have it's way with me! I can't do that with Maverick. -

I don't like either ride although I'll ride both. It's just my personal preference. I guess I'm more of a B&M fan than Intamin. -

It looks great! I can't wait... All I can say is it's about time - 7 years for a new coaster at the Point. I'm "not fond" of their last addition - Maverick. This will be a long awaited great addition. -

This is the new America folks...sad, but true. PS: YAY for Coke Freestyle Machines...I've been dying to try one of these! Do they have a Jack Daniels flavor? I can't believe that is true about Blue Streak! It's my favorite ride at the Point... It has great airtime, short lines and comfortable seats. -

I've really missed the webcams. I check for them everyday. So glad they're back up now. I want to see the testing and look for "special riders" if they exist now.
