Remember there is no coaster designer in RCT1... I'm kinda looking forward to this... I just was messing around and managed to make some insane looking corkscrew coasters in 3 in a 10x10 and got close to the 7 excitement and 8 intensity.

Man it has been way too long since I was at BlackPool. That place was amazing. Most consistent themeing I have ever seen. Asphalt everywhere and gaudy buildings as far as the eye can see. Still the rides kicked ass. Tell me you went on Steeplechase and the Wild Mouse... Those are some of the most memorable things there. The wild mouse because it has some seriously close head choppers and the steeplechase... well if you went on the steeplechase it is obvious. The funny thing was that there was this red haired guy who looked like he had worked in a factory every day of his life pushing the horses out when I went... Completely the stereotypical image of blackpool from what I have heard... Anyway glad you had so much fun. Can't wait to see more pics. BTW do you have any better shots of some of the classic rides at Blackpool?

Yeah Thorpe pictures are gonnna be kinda overshadowed by Robbs... Man I want to ride Rush... They were testing it the whole day I was there and it was due to open in 1 week... Sigh... Still I got on a huge amount of the rides around the park anyway.

Only 5 cars... Sounds like you have a problem someplace... I never had any problem going with up to 8 cars on a steel twister. Check the length of your station. It has to be fairly long.

Just use paint if you have nothing else. Just select save as in the file menu and select jpg or jpeg in the filetype box. The reason bmps or bitmaps aren't allowed is they are huge. Bitmaps are completely uncompressed.

You agree to a release for most american parks too. It doesn't stop people from suing sadly. Look at the back of a Six Flags ticket sometime... OMG...

OMG thats the crazy dual lift hill Arrow I saw a video of someplace. I gotta say that the video made it look like hell. The camera was moving around so much it blurred terribly with the compression. Still I got the feeling it was probably kinda fun when it first opened... Ah the ravages of time...

I might try... Compared to some of you though I suck at scenery. I'm also kinda hit or miss on rides. Some of my coasters I am thrilled with and others are just crap...

RCT2's expansions were worth it just for the extra scenarios alone. The only real problem was that they never added any real new types of rides. We were kinda spoiled in RCT1 as it started with a fairly small selection of rides then each expansion added a decent number more. RCT3 seems to have a great expansion plan. They add a significant new gameplay angle with each expansion. That is a heck of a thing IMHO. If they can keep it working well with Wild I will be immensely happy with RCT3. I honestly can't tell you how happy Soaked has made me. I mean when RCT3 first came out I was almost ready to dismiss it. I still haven't really figured out how to get people to keep going on rides but heck. It is still soo much better than I ever thought it would be. Oh and waterslides rock.

LOL... Who knew that the Chinese were so far ahead in the mind control foam research... I'm sorry but that just looks psychotic... Seriously though foam volcano... Thats reason enough to visit. I want one of those in the US... Although they would probably be afraid of some kid eating it and like getting a stomach upset or something.

See now that bothers me... I didn't notice any real problems with vibration when I rode it earlier this year. I thought that the S&S Swat was a blast. Sadly the swing was due to open in a week when I went... I especially liked the Swat in the front seats so that you could see the other riders the other side. Also it didn't cause the whole blood pooling in every part of the top half of my body feeling. Seriously the first time I rode I was in the back on that bad boy and OMG it felt like my shoulders were the size of an NFL players shoulder pads... It also felt like my head might pop like a large zit but hey... Amazing amazing ride. Six Flags should definitely put some more in if S&S can solve the problems with the initial setup.

No... It's not... Seriously guys if you haven't checked out VLC it is one of the best media programs I have ever played with. Windows Media Player is just a hopeless hodgepodge of various interfaces that aren't intended to be used with one another. The whole thing barely holds together at the best of times and the way they put together their one window interface makes me seriously question whether they have any user interface design employees at all. Seriously one of the most poorly designed apps I have ever seen... Of course it is coming from the company who is well known for poorly designed interfaces so what am I expecting...

Whoa... That is a big... big... big... Ferris Wheel... Not sure what to think of the RoboCoaster... I never got into the 4d Coaster because it was too much tweaking to get something realistic that was fun.

Seriously just find someone who you know who can put together computers. It is pretty much dead easy. The only hard part for CPU's is actually fitting the heatsink... Ugh that scares me so much I don't know if I will ever do it. Everything else is basically stick plug into socket kinda stuff. I had my friends over to help with the computer I'm on right now. I think I could do it myself now though probably. Just make sure you are well grounded and in an area where there isn't long carpet... Static is not your friend. Also I would highly suggest going with ATI for computer graphics chips right now as they are in the lead. Always go one generation behind the current chips as well as you get great performance for a fraction of the cost.

Heck get rid of Divx codec entirely... Go with VLC... I love that program. It plays nearly everything... Well worth trying.

Thankyou so much for not using that effect again. Much much better video. The only major thing I would say to consider is a full POV ridethrough is always nice. Try to throw that in someplace. There were a number of very very nice camera angles. The only ones I felt were kinda lacking was the one over the top of the middle of the ride looking at all the inversions. Kinda no drama there. It was kinda a letdown. A few other places it was similarly low on drama. A very quick cut as the train passes an interesting part of the track is more effective than the longer ones. Possibly a little closer too. The shot of the barrel roll was damn near perfect IMHO just a little slow as it actually went through. Many of the other shots at the end were similarly very well done. The initial full ride had some of the slower shots though and those seemed to slow the whole rush. I gotta say though it was a very very nice video overall. I look forward to seeing more of your creations. Please don't think of my comments as too critical. I'm just throwing in my voice. Feel free to ignore me if you want.

Dude seriously... I don't usually do this but get a clue... There are tons of things put under that kind of stress all the time that last for years upon years. If Intamin did the engineering right and the building contractor did things right the ride should remain fine for years to come. It is pushing a lot of G's but it can deal with it.

lol Anyone actually look at the pics of Elitch Gardens? It actually shows the Flying Coaster being assembled.... You can see the track next to it. Plus it was before the ugly brown corner on Twister 2...

Didn't someone just say they are adding a third train? I mean heck... It is still a hell of a lot better than PKI's Italian Job... That thing carries so few people.

Robb I gotta know what on earth do you actually wear to these PR events? I mean you can't be wearing that kind of stuff right? I guess I shouldn't assume... I mean David Jaffe wore about the same red shirt on everything... At least I think I am remembering that right. BTW why Portugal? I guess I don't really see that as being a big place for games and stuff.
