Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread
jamesdillaman replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
1. Cedar Point's Screaming Swing has a weak program. Kennywood's is much better. 2. The coaster you described seems very similar to Maverick, so I think it's doubtful. As for what it is, I'm hoping for a flatride. Cedar Point needs more flats desperately. -James Dillaman -
Dollywood Picture Requests

If you do not get one of the giant griddles of greasy food, you have failed at a Dollywood Photo TR. -James Dillaman -
Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread
jamesdillaman replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ Yeah, too far for me, unless gas prices drop by about a dollar. Seriously, I doubt this attraction will be a coaster. Maverick was a pretty big attraction. Cedar Point needs flats, and TRUE family rides, so that's what I'm hoping. it'll probably turn out to be a new gift shop, though. -James Dillaman -
Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread
jamesdillaman replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I just don't see how this is different from the crazy rumors thread, as that's all it is until there's a press release or actual construction (Not just holes in the ground!) I used to be all about Cedar Point, but right now I'm much more interested in what Dollywood, Holiday World, Beech Bend, and Kennywood are putting in, as I'm more likely to go to these parks next year. -James Dillaman -
High School Trips to Theme Parks
jamesdillaman replied to moviekid21's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Little? Your profile says you're 18, you could still be in high school. If you're not, then you're only slightly older. I don't have problems with them, unless they are being damaging to property or obnoxiously loud after 1am. Either way, if you report them to the park/resort, they'll take care of it. -James Dillaman -
PKI Ride Removal?

Or if most of the guests were really trying to get to cedar point and took a wrong turn... -James Dillaman -
PKI Ride Removal?

I think this only goes to show how much rumors can be trusted, as vortex was definitely NOT removed, as I rode it last week... -James Dillaman -

Great Pics, Robb and everybody else who submitted photos for the mini update. I guess Timber Falls is a must-do in a Dells trip, huh? -James Dillaman -

Here's a snapshot of some true Credit whores who joined up with the Midwest-trippers this weekend and just HAD to get the coveted Boa Squeeze credit at Cincinnati Mills Mall in Forest Park, OH. Why drive right past it twice on the way between Kings Island and Stricker's Grove and back again without getting your inner whore on, right? -James "I won't pretend I haven't been on this coaster more than once " Dillaman -
^ I was wondering the same thing, actually. If some people are standing and some even reclining, how can the physics be the same. I'm no engineer, though. Maybe there's something I don't know -James Dillaman

Yes, but in the states many theme parks aren't open during the week after school starts. I believe many go to weekends only in September. And crowds during weekends can still be bad. -James Dillaman

Cedar Point TR

^ Hey, You did it didn't you? You take what you can get when you rely on other people for transportation. -James Dillaman -
The "All-in-one" Train design definitely is an odd one. I wonder if any park would see that and actually want to build one, though. -James Dillaman

Busch Gardens Europe PTR
jamesdillaman replied to Top Thrill Dragster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
No, I'M the James, Joe, DUH! (sudden urge to buy a new car instead of buying another used car, don't know why...) I was just also wanting to hit some of the restaurants that are a can't miss at BGE, factoring in 2 meals a day, aren't there more than 2 that need to be done for the full experience? -James Dillaman -

Great photos! Our little foursome of trippers was thinking about hitting up BGE next year. One question, can you do it all in one day, or would it be better to spend a couple there. -James Dillaman -

^ I personally didn't shed a tear for Psyclone, especially since you can ride Cyclone at Coney Island, and it's truly historic and MUCH better. -James Dillaman -

Hey, Just got done meeting up with TPR at King's Island and earlier at Stricker's Grove (with a side trip to Wonderpark for Boa Squeeze!). Fun was had by all, Losing Joe's cell phone, Getting stuck after BREAKING Face/Off!!!! And A night ride on Beast to boot! I've definitely got to get something good on my boss so I can blackmail him into getting me more time off to take a TPR trip next year! -James Dillaman
