  1. I actually really like the new paint job. So what if it doesn't fit the theme, I mean this is Six Flags were talking about. And who knows what the story behind this is, or what Six Flags has up their sleeves. Looks Good!
  2. For me, it is definitely Superman Krypton Coaster at SFFT. It is an excellent ride, and is without a doubt the best floorless coaster out there.
  3. WOW! This is awesome! I thought the park was a goner for sure, and I didn't see them ever opening a new ride again.
  4. Great Photo TR! There were some great pictures in it, and I am glad to see that you had a great time, even with the bad weather. I am amazed that you got more wet on Ripsaw Falls than on Popeye's and Jurassic Park. Once again great TR!
  5. Awesome trip report! What other parks are you visiting this October? Are you going to make it to SFMW? I hope that I will be able to make it to SFMW on an upcoming Sunday, I really want to try out the new house that they have this year. I also really like the Brutal Planet at SFMW, even thoguh it is really random, it always provides me with some good scares. Great Photo TR!
  6. Awesome Photo TR Jarmor! I really liked all of the "inside info", and your pictures were perfect and crystal clear! Once again GREAT trip report!
  7. This is soooo easy for me. That is because I LOVE this kiddie coaster: http://www.rcdb.com/ig265.htm?picture=4 http://www.rcdb.com/ig265.htm?picture=3 http://www.rcdb.com/ig265.htm?picture=2 Road Runner Express at SFFT is definitely my favorite kiddie coaster of all time! It's got great theming, a great setting (In a quarry), and it is just an awesome ride with some good forces.
  8. A few weeks later a couple of TPR members went to SFMM to see how construction was coming along. To their surprise the station, a turn around, and the lift had been completed. (Pics will be included in the next update) Rob and Elissa were among the TPR members who headed down to SFMM and they were very excited to see the construction. Although no one could figure out what the coasters layout was going to look like and who the company was that was building it. Saty tuned for the Alvey Photo TR for SFMM's new wooden coaster!
  9. I am making a coaster in NL and I wanted a good story behind it. So every night (I hope) I will add a new addition until I unveil my creation. I hope you enjoy my story and future coaster. See if you can guess what the coaster is!The first person to guess right gets a cookie! Email all your answers to Dan. P.S. Please don't take this seriously it is meant to be fun and to poke fun at how coaster enthusiast can get sometimes. If you don't know what I am talking about look at the CP Project 07 thread. SFMM didn't like how rough and bad psclone was and feared that it could get them into trouble. So they made the decision that most people hoped they would, they demolished psclone. A couple of years went by and many coaster enthusiast started to wonder what would replace the infamous coaster. It was assumed that a new kids area would be put onto its old footprint because of SFMM's "family friendly" atmosphere. But to everyone's surprise a few footers had popped up one September night. Coaster enthusiast all over the world were thrilled, but it would be a few months before the excitement really began. Enthusiast had wondered for weeks what was to come, a B&M? an intamin? Both? Then over night a flatbed truck pulled into SFMM carrying many pallets of wood. This made a lot of enthusiast disappointed considering SFMM's maintenance of its wood coasters. All of the enthusiast were hoping for a GCI or Intamin woodie but that isn't what they were about to get...
  10. Mine was on Giant Dipper at SCBB. I was about ten years old and I was going to SCBB for the first time. I went on some flats and then made my way up to Hurricane the small compact coaster. This really scared me because It came very close to the ground and I thought I way going to loose my arms. I really enjoyed my ride and when I got off I decided to go ride Giant Dipper. The thing that you have to realize is that I was a very small and skinny ten year old kid. After waiting for about ten minutes I got on the ride and pulled down my seat belt to find that it was a couple of inches off of my lap. I didn't think anything about it and then the ride started, went through the underground helix, and started to ascend the lift. When we reached the climax I got scared because I just realized how far the seat belt was off of my lap. When the train went down the first drop I was holding on for dear life because I could have easily made it out of the seat. I was so scared and really thought that I was going to die. I have never experienced such terrifying airtime, and every single hill had more than the last. When the ride was over I realized how much fun I had and I couldn't wait to get on it again. This horrible experience ended up being one of the best coaster experiences I have ever had. It also put Giant Dipper high on my top wood coaster list. I love that ride and i will never forget my amazing airtime filled experience.
  11. I totoally agree I LOVE that ride, it was a huge suprise! It is just so much fun, and I love the drop of doom! My list is as follows (in order): 1. Revenge of the Mummy (FL) 2. Runaway Mountain (SFOT) 3. TIE Revenge of the Mummy (Ca)/ Space Mountain (MK)
  12. I thoght that Insanity was kind of lame, I mean ya it was cool being up that high but I am not afraid of heights so I wasn't scared at all. It was just a long boring spinning ride to me. Xscream on the other hand scared the living shizz out of me. Like I said before I am not afraid of heights but OMG sitting in the front seat, flying down that peice of track, and suddenly stopping hanging off the edge, and looking 900ft down makes that be one of the scariest rides in the world IMO.
  13. I am SO excited for Maverick, I really think that it will take the cake for best coaster at CP. I am very pleased that CP chose to go with a smaller ride with a lot of theming. IMO this coaster looks amazing it has good elements, good theming (maybe, just please NO neon paint anywhere), and hopefully good airtime ! I am very excited for this ride especially since I never really got all that excited for it. Ever since the construction started I have not really thought anything of it, but great job CP! See you next year! '07 will be SO AWESOME!! One of the best years for coasters EVA!
  14. You mean a big cluckin' chicken, right Elissa.
  15. Oh, now I see it ECZenith. Thank You Hold the phone! Thats not 27,000 burritos, its OMG OMG... 27,000 Lemon Chills, Duh!
  16. Are these the cars? http://www.pointpixels.com/4images/details.php?image_id=8212 Look like aquatrax cars to me.
  17. Your pictures are not working for me.
  18. If this rumor is true, I really hope they clone the building to look like the Terminator building at USH. I love that building ! It is so cool and futuristic looking, and it is blue! Oh please, Oh please
  19. After seeing both shows, BMG and O by CDS in Las Vegas, I actually prefer the BMG. It was vey weird, cool, interesting, and amazing and I think UO would be making a GREAT descicion by putting this in. It would be much better than an empty lot and I think the BMG would fit perfectly in UO.
  20. DO IT!! LOL!! I would really like to see for myself though, very interesting!
  21. My favorite S&S tower is Superman Tower of Power at SFOT, it gives you the best of both worlds with a turbo drop and launch, and the thing is HUGE!!, flippin hot dog man huge . Thats as big as it gets!! It really is the tallest one though. All I can really really say to describe it is it is AMAZING The one on top of Stratosphere is my #2, not for being that great, (its alright) but for scaring the shizz out of me! Scariest S&S tower ever!
  22. Me too! I really think that there should be TPR awards, it could show the golden ticket awards how it is done.
  23. SHOCK CP won again. I am SO surprised!!
  24. That was great Ryan! I don't think that I have ever laughed so hard from a video in my life, great job! I love the vekoma scenes, the dinner scene, the outakes, the credits.
