I get emails most every day from San Antonio. Got one yesterday for the pre-Black Friday sale. Not uncommon to get 2 in a day. I haven't been a passholder there in a couple years. Platinum is down to $190 currently. Side note, seems the park president here is leaving. Not sure I've seen that mentioned.

Rumors suggest it's just a retheme and will turn the area into more of a DreamWorks area. Coaster will be rethemed. Nothing huge or too exciting here for most.

You wont need quick queue. Or at least wait til you're there. They have self service machines a few places in the park. It will most likely be dead and walk ons or < 10 min for everything.

Entire park was pretty much a walk on the 2 weeks (excluding weekends) before Halloween if you can swing that. Earlier in the year is usually less crowded too but they don't always have their shit together first few weeks.

Should have grabbed all of them. Might be good resale in a year or two. People are already trying it on eBay.

BGW also likes an upcharge. They had a speakeasy this summer that was an upcharge.

Superbowl Sunday was a great time to visit 2 years ago. Had the park to myself and basically everything was open. Sat on everything as long as I wanted.

I would imagine most folks just renew again in August and the short season doesn't really matter. But, that does suck for someone that doesn't renew every year.

I live nearby. No plans to buy passes for the 2nd year in a row. Got a free pass from a friend and got a visit in this summer. I'll prob do the same next year.

You're too Old to Trick or Treat is a great little show if you make it to Haunt. Check it out. It's a funny, stupid game show with a good cast.

A faulty sensor wasn't the problem. Ride ops weren't the problem. Circumventing and altering manufacture regulations and design was the problem. Follow all the manufacturer rules and safety features and I'd hop on it again.

It is a 2022 perk. So yes this year. It is not a 2023 perk as far as we know.
