Planned but Cancelled
testtrack321 replied to Rollercoaster Rider's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Just read the Neverland FIles for all the Disney concepts. Dick Tracy Crime Stoppers was years ahead of it's time, it was going to be the first use of the EMV concept. Also check out Maroon Studios at DHS and it's Rodger Rabbit ride. -

Matt changed the DLR. Previously you had Pressler and Harris who pushed through DCA, let the resort fall to pieces, lower standards in ALL categories, and pretty much make a shit sandwich while staying in the TDA offices doing endless powerpoints on "If it's good enough for Six Flags". Then Matt came around, walked the parks, talked to guests and CMs, pushed plans for an ACTUAL 50th Anniversary Celebration, added attractions, and improved quality. As long as CF allows this guy to do what he does best this is GREAT news for the company.

Osama Bin Laden killed by American forces
testtrack321 replied to Hotlanta's topic in Random, Random, Random
True, but when you join Al Qaeda you pledge allegiance to Bin Ladin. He's the charismatic leader who united all the Al Qaeda "franchises" and provided moral and financial backing. Without him you severely weaken them. WIll they still be around? Yes. Will there be attempts at revenge? Yes, but remember 9/11 was a massive intelligence failure under a different culture. I suspect we'll see an embassy bombing. For what this is to hurting Al Qaeda it's a moral victory for our troops, economy, and civilians. -
Tokyo Disney Resort Discussion Thread

Fantasmic at WDW combines the "fun" of show pass, without the actual order. Instead they shove you in a pen for an hour then it's a free for all to the seats. YAY! The WDW show is inferior to DL, it really is. Fantasmic at DL & WDW is more of a stage production with some water screens and barges to entertain. This is more of an Illuminations or WoC style show first and foremost with actors and characters on barges to support it. -

What do you get when you combine the best night time shows Disney has? Tokyo Disney Sea reopened this week and with it they opened their new Fantasmic! Watch the crazy new show below... -
Lets be honest here, it's a publicity stunt. Sounds like someone wanted to make a story based off of some random chit chat. Oh well. Personally, I think it wouldn't work unless it was a traveling kind of park that goes with her on concerts. That could work.

Portal 2 will keep you up for days. Juste beat Portal 2, total mind-f. The ending is crazier, the writing is perfect, the puzzles go beyond test chambers, and it's perfect. It's better than the first one, and that one was one of my favorite games of all time. I'm going to play through again tonight with developer commentary. Has anyone tried the co-op yet? The single player story arch is some of the best I've ever played. Can't wait to see what new experiences co-op brings to the table. Also, be prepared to play multiple levels with no commentary. It is much more spread out than in the first game. I just beat the game again with developer commentary. I think there was as much as last time in terms of spread out. I wish they had WAY more though in the opening areas of, well, the second part of the game (not to spoil it!) First play through was about 10 hours (12 hours if you're not as dedicated as I am) and the second play through was done in about 7. Still worth every penny. And no I haven't gotten to Co-Op yet, but I'm going to get my sister involved over the weekend!

So am I, gotta love Portal 2.

So, who kidnapped the Indians and put this awesome team out?

That is a good deal if you can use the accessory, still not great since I graduated and don't have a job yet!

Got back to the states and went to Target to try out the 3DS. Really freaky! I like it, just not $250 like it.

What Was the Last Beer You Drank?

I've been posted up in Cabo San Lucas for the past few weeks doing an interning position. Of course, there is a great local brewery here and I've made SEVERAL stops. If you guys ever do another cruise stop down here make sure to visit Baja Brewing Company, they have GREAT food (awesome burgers and pizzas) and amazing beers. I'm a huge fan of their Pale Ale and their Chocolate Stout, and they have some really good seasonal beers too.
