  1. Dude! Are you hittin' it to coaster porn at work? Even I don't stoop that low. Much.
  2. Hurray for snarky Paula! She's the best Raven Maven on the planet!
  3. and it's a full moon! Please let this create a Zombie Apocalypse! Zombie Apocalypse! Zombie Apocalypse! Guy "Zombie Apocalypse!" Koepp
  4. Next to the Zombie Apocalypse, this is my most anticipated thing for 2013! I can't wait for my annual Branson spring trip.
  5. Hanno, the "golden hour" can make any coaster trash into a thing of beauty. Awesome photo my friend.
  6. I was at HAUNT on Sunday. Had a great time. For the most part all the mazes were awesome! The lesser being Dia de Los Muertos, Virus Z, Uncle Bobo's, and Slaughterhouse. Dia has long run it's course for a HAUNT maze, as well as Uncle Bobo's. They both need to be either removed, or redone extensively. The clowns in the street were awesome, but the maze is just old and tired. Virus Z I loved last year, but was very lackluster this year. And the Carrie ending was way off theme and just plain unnecessary. Slaughterhouse I thought had run it's course last year, but actually was a bit better this year. Not great, but better. The standout mazes for me were definitely Pinochio and Dominion, with Trick or Treat being the highlight. All three were excellent in their themeing and the Scare-actors were on top of their game. The only downside being that ToT is a bit short. The Hanging was pretty much par for the course. Funny, campy, pretty much what I expected. Ed Alonzo and his entourage of hot dancers was great as usual. He is always funny and works well with the audience. A special shout out to one of the dancers. I obviously don't know your name, but you had the short brunette, blunt cut hair. Or was it a wig. It doesn't matter. You were mesmerizing! I'm not a stalker. (As far as you know) But you danced your way into my psyche for the rest of the night and into my dreams afterward. If anyone knows you, please pass along my heartfelt admiration. Kudos! Well played young lady. Well played! Midnight Witching Hour was a fun short event to wrap up the night. But IMHO, I actually thought it was a bit long. After the witch appears, she kinda rambles on for a few minutes and I really just wanted her to curse us all and then torch tha joint. Oh! Unearthed! This is another new addition. It's only about a 15 minute long show, but a real treat none the less. It helps give you some more backstory to the Green Witch. It's hard to find as it actually takes place in the Mystery Lodge theater. Also, The Calico Mine Ride. While not a scare-actor filled ride this year, it is themed for HAUNT and also helps tell more back story about the Green Witch as well. It's a lot of fun and almost always no wait. I didn't go to any of the other shows as I had seen most of them in years past, but I caught a bit of Blood Drums as we exited Slaughterhouse. It seemed like it was all it's trash can bangin', pipe tappin', belt sander against metal, sparks flyin', goodness. As far as the street monsters were concerned, they seemed to be in great terrorizing moods as their gag order had been lifted. Even the Witches were trolling the streets, and I might add hiding very well as one stepped out in front of me from behind a tangled vine and startled the shit out of me! (Best scare of the night! Kudos Witchy! Kudos!) I especially liked the Tricksters as they were particularly tormenting to people and quite funny. I thought it was awesome that they had plain clothed "plants" this year that the tricksters would randomly grab out of the crowds and drag off in to Ghost Town's dark alleys. After much screaming from the "plant", and insidious laughing from the Tricksters. The Tricksters would re emerge and the "plant" would be gone. All in all. I had an awesome time at the event this year. I hope Knott's keeps upping their game. They did a marvelous job! Congrats to all involved in HAUNT. It was a glorious 40th. Keep up the great work.
  7. I can't wait to get back there this spring! It looks beautiful this time of the year.
  8. Wow! That looked really awesome! I loves that 0G roll into a fly to lie position, then right into the loop. And the double cork low to the ground looked amazing as well.
  9. Love the look of these coasters. I can only pray one gets built here in the US in the next year or two.
  10. I'm told the Scareactors are no longer allowed to communicate to the guests anymore in any way what so ever. I'll be there tomorrow night, but I can't see this as doing anything but dimishing the HAUNT experience. I for one, love it when the monsters torment me. It adds to the fun. Guy "Still looking forward to HAUNT tomorrow night." Koepp
  11. Wow! That thing looks surprisingly forceful. And that bunny hop looks like some actual ejector air on a B&M. What tha what? Guy "Tell me I'm seeing things!" Koepp
  12. And to hanging out with the "Twister Twins"? It should be written in TPR law that no picture of this ride can be shown that does not include the twins.
  13. I think I like this mini golf best of them all. It looked as if they had some pretty challenging holes.
  14. All Hail Ice Bat on his 5th birthday. How old is that in Ice Bat years?
  15. Story of my life. I can't count how many women are waiting for me to become available again. What can I say. I just have it. It's like sexy, sex, sex, sex oozes from every fiber of my being. It is my blessing, and my curse.
  16. ^No! Unless I have a say in what replaces it.
  17. Great TR Chuck. I've got to get up there to check out BGW's event. This year is very unlikely as I'm getting ready to head out to LA for work till the end of the month. Perhaps next year. It looks awesome!
  18. My DVR recorded a show in standard def the other day. I couldn't believe how crappy the picture looked. I can't believe I actually watched that fuzzy, blocky, horrible picture and thought it was acceptable. It hurt my eyes! How did I ever live before HD?
  19. Awesome picture Hanno. Hey Chris, it that a real Space Shuttle there in the background?
  20. So were you able to jump right over type 2 diabetes and face plant into full blown diabetes? Awesome TR Adam. I only wish that singing chick was Katy Perry in her Candyland outfit.
  21. Alright! Alright! You've twisted my arm enough! I'm gonna go on a European vacation with TPR in 2014. By chance do you think there might be an England leg of this trip as well? I would love to kill more than one bird with a stones throw across tha pond.
  22. My vote would go to Projekt Helix. It looks awesome. As fun as FT looks to be, I really wanted a bit more.
  23. I think we are in agreement, and I feel funny pressing this point, but with all due respect, I think you are way off base on the land issue. Just leaving the Cages Bend area where I now live. The fence line on my backyard is the Gallatin, Hendersonville city line. I pass 3 unrestricted 109 acre lots, and about a dozen 50ish acre joined lots, every day that are zoned specifically for comercial/ shopping/ entertainment. This area nearing the end of VVB (which by the way is now a major 4 lane freeway all the way in to Gallatin) is exploding in just that arena. All they are building is shopping and entertainment in our area now. And honestly, it takes me 25 minutes to get in to downtown Nashville on a "heavy" traffic day. So that is no longer an issue either. Seriously, if I were to try and build an amusement park here in the Nashville area, I would build it right in the Gallatin/Hendersonville area. The perfect place would be the Station Camp exit where the rock quarry is. There's thousands of acres right there that are waiting to be developed into an entertainment complex. Guy "Why can't I win the lotto and build Guyland." Koepp
