I like getting them as I don't often start at the home page and just auto jump from my emails to the forum I am monitoring. this clues me in on mabey some cool stuff I might have missed.

^^^With all due respect, I would have to disagree. Log Jammer was easily the best water ride in the park, and probably the third best flume ride in So. Cal. I would love to see another good water ride weaving in and around that hill again.

This announcement does not disappoint me.

I am suspect of these rumors. That's 2 different ones in less than 2 pages of discussion from the same poster, from the same "reliable" source. And I hate the name Twisted Colossus. I pray that is a cruel joke. I guess we'll just have to wait till Thursday.

I hope the next thing they remove is the block section that is covering that once awesome double down.

I know. It just seems like it's taking forever. Like the day after Halloween and you want it to be Halloween again already. Then you kinda forget about it and the year moves by pretty quickly, then BAM! this time of year starts rolling around and everyone starts teasing Halloween and the last 2 months till October drag on endlessly. Ahhhhhhhh! Madness! Why is I-Colo not open yet!?

Is it just me, or does it seem like it's taking forever for them to close this puppy. Get on with it MM. Get on with the awesome!

I think trying to make money was the parks biggest nightmare. Now that I think of it, what wasn't a nightmare for this park.

^Maybe I do? Maybe I don't? Maybe I'm sworn to secrecy by the unholy brotherhood of new ride construction and re-location society. Or as we like to be called UBNRCRLS. Pronounced like, "up in her curls." And yes, it's a subliminal reference for oral. But I've already said to much.

Awesome beginning to a TR that I'm sure will be filled with all kinds of win! Praise the Lord and pass the mashed potatos.

There won't be shows in the Mystery Lodge or Birdcage Theatre this year. The reduction in entertainment is the one negative I see with this year's event. It'll be interesting to see how that affects the mood, as I always found it fun to wander into some of the lesser-attended shows. Awwwww! This saddens me. Hopefully the Special Ops thingy will make up for it. Speaking of, will the skeleton key give you front of line access for this area?

The only other place I think I see this going would be to Fiesta Texas. In which case I would have to swing by there as well.

^I think you could be on to something with this theory. If so, it looks like I might be making a trip to Frontier City next year.

Yay! I can't wait for HAUNT this year. Everything looks great. Of all the new stuff, I think I am most excited about the lazer tag portion. Could be a lot of fun. Especially if you go with a good group of peeps. I do hope they tweak the Elvira show a bit for this year. It was poorly paced and kinda dragged on a bit long. It wasn't horrible, it just needed to be tightened up. Did they mention anything about a show in the Mystery Lodge? I really have enjoyed the shows that they have done in the past there. I'm also glad they are expanding upon the Skeleton Key scenes. Those were a lot of fun last year and a welcome addition. Great TR! Thanks for taking the time to fill us all in on the event.
