  1. ^I didn't even realize that they have started building track outside of the show building area yet.
  2. ^^If memory serves, the management was asked this several years ago at WCB. The response was that it was never intended to be a terrain coaster. It's intent was to give you the feeling of flying over the mountain. With that response given, I'd have to say mission accomplished.
  3. Awesome TR Chuck! This looks like the perfect fit for a Legoland park. Nice to see they kept the charm and beauty of the gardens in tact as well. I really hope for the best with this endeavor as my kids love them some Legoland, and we are hoping to make a big Orlando/ Tampa vacation this year. Legoland would make a nice day away from the monster that is Disney.
  4. Just curious, did any one else get an online survey from the park about their Halloween Haunt experience this year?
  5. Porn! Lots and lots of porn! And Football. However, I too have a short off season, as we still have Dollywood Christmas, and I usually work one last gig in Cali before the end of the year. Plus awards season starts at the beginning of the year. January through June is a very busy time for me.
  6. Playing catch up here. I spit out my coffee just now. Guy "Good times! Good times!" Koepp
  7. It makes me sad to see this amazing giant of a coaster being built only to have the brake run be so high. It seems like such a waste of potential energy. I want more ride before the brakes. Perhaps they are using technology pioneered by Toyota for the Prius, and are transferring that potential energy into stored energy to be used to drive the lift hill as well as other rides. Now that would be one Behemoth I could get behind. Awesome fun and energy conscious.
  8. These hotels all look so beautiful. Just out of curiosity, do the hotels allow guests early entrance into the park?
  9. Does anyone know what the small "disk" pieces of metal are on the backbone? I cannot see them in any photos of Raptor on RCDB, does this mean we are getting another "Sand-Filled" B&M and not getting the glorious B&M Roar? I was just thinking the same thing when I saw this picture.
  10. ^Awesome Dude! I just got my tickets for the 23rd. Woo Hoo!
  11. Awesome TR Joey! This totally builds my anticipation for the seasonal events! I can't wait to get over to Knott's and HHN this year. Only 2 more weeks! Whoot!
  12. I love the eyes on the tower. I had never noticed that before. Excellent TR. But it was kinda lacking something. Perhaps more fog. Yes! That's what it needed, a heaping helping of fog. Cause you can never have enough fog.
  13. I was waiting for some quality pictures from this years event. You never disappoint Chuck.
  14. ^If you were to ride it as is now, you definitely will not be getting the experience that it was when it first opened. I think I originally had it in my top five when I first rode it, but it has steadily dropped on my wood coaster ranking and didn't even rate in my top third after this year. It is now only a bone jarring ride. I probably won't even bother to ride it next year unless they get the Timberliners on it.
  15. Awesome TR Chuck! I'm so sad I had to miss this event. Thank you for sharing your day with the rest of us.
  16. ^^Both rides are awesome and should be ridden in the front as well as the back. Be careful of a bit of head banging on Revolution. But they are both still awesome rides and usually have no wait.
  17. Love it! Hope you all are having a Deep South Blast. Guy "See what I did there! These are the jokes people! Comedy! Laugh!" Koepp
  18. As awesome as this TR is, and as mysterious and unsolvable as the forbidden drinking fountain is. I'm still waiting for the ebony & ivory shoes to re-appear.
