Eric's Dollywood Thread!

I know we will be there on the 17th. Then after that it will more than likely be the 29th or 30th. It would be great to meet up. -

I can't wait! We're hoping to get back at least 2 more times this year before they close for the season. Mmmmmmmmmmm! Cinnebread! That and the peppermint hot chocolate. So delicious! -

These are great Super 8 vids Shane! Thank you so much for sharing them with us. There is just something beautiful and nostalgic about film. It reminds me of sitting around the living room when we visited the family in Arizona and watched my Grandfather's and Dad's films. Classic! I love it. -
Just so I'm clear, Guy, this is said like the guy who opens the Ark of the Covenant right before it goes berserk and kills all the Nazis? Exactly, when I put it in my PS3 the tracks swirled around my living room and killed all the Nazis. Then Alana's face melted, and my head blew up! Guy "That pretty much sums up the RCitRHD experience." Koepp

IT'S BEAUTIFUL! Seriously! You must get this Blu-Ray! If you have been putting off buying a player, go to Wal Mart now and get yourself one! Only $79 while supplies last. This is the coaster footage you have been dreaming of! I can't say enough how crystal clear and real everything feels on this disc. Alana told me she was watching me watch it on the monitor and thought it was funny that I was leaning into the turns and sometimes even ducking during some head chopper elements. I think my only complaint, (and I preface this with the common knowledge that I am retarded and read slow) is that some of the information cards would disappear while I was reading the last sentence. Perhaps 5 more seconds for us literary challenged people. In retrospect, I could also hit the pause button, but that would be way too easy. All in all, this is the best coaster footage out there today. I can not rave enough about it. Excellent work Robb & Elissa! You have created another masterpiece. It's only sad that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences don't have a category for best B roll. Cause you would win it hands down for this footage. Congratulations on a another exceptional Disc! On a scale of 1 through 5 up stop wheels, it gets an 11! Guy "Buy it for the footage, stay for the Grona Twins!" Koepp

^That's right, it's Summer on your side of the planet. -
Need to add: -When Walter Bolliger talks. Oh, wait, this is a game where you want to drink! Nevermind.... I could feel you trying so hard to get him to expand on his responses but I think the language barrier was just too much for any elaboration. That's probably why their booth is always empty. The man's a genius and his company does amazing things, but his interviews don't vary much. All of the other coverage is amazing though! I love reading about all the new hotness and you guys have the best coverage by far! DRINK! Guy "Speaking of drinking, why is there no little drunken taiko face? WES!" Koepp

^Same. I just renewed my xtreme pass as I thought all the perks were the same as previous years. I find all this info very interesting. I have gotten the extreme pass since it has been offered just because of the parking. They even sold me the upgrade to that pass many years ago because they told me that the parking was good at all the parks chain wide. Except Kentucky Kingdom as the parking is from the fairground people, and not the park. As I travel a lot for work, I like to visit the local amusement park if I have the opportunity. That's why I get the CF pass with the parking add on as well. They have always saved me tons o' cash in the long run. 6F have always said that the in park discounts and coupon book were park exclusive. So that was understood. That's why I get Alana, Jarett, & January's passes at 6FoG. But all this year, I have used my MM xtreme pass to park . In fact, in 8 years I have never had any trouble at any of the parks. Before I process my MM pass, I'm gonna check with guest services about that chain wide parking option and changing my pass to a regular pass with that option so I don't run into any problems in the future.
