I love Craftmans Alley. Dependig on how we feel, sometimes the fam just spends the day walking up and down this area checking out the artisans. Seriously, when the wagon makers are pressing wheels, I could watch them all day. Alana & I want to own one of these one day. They are absolutely beautiful. -

As a father, I sometime take into consideration what my kids reaction to a ride is as well. My kids will pretty much ride anything now that they are both tall enough, and love coasters as much as I do. But, when my daughter comes off a ride crying, like she did once this year on a ride that will go nameless, or either one emphatically states that they don't want to ride a certain ride again that year, and my reaction is, "You know, I have no desire to ride that again this year as well." It will drop significantly in my ranking. But I still didn't rank it last. -

I think they're using Dudley Moore and his team for marketing. -

^Opry Mills mall is supposed to be 100% functional by March. If everyone has moved back in at that time is up to the individual company. There are several stores with outside entrances that are already open. Bass Pro, D&B, the AMC Theater, etc. I'm told the food court is open as well, but I personally can neither confirm or deny this. I haven't heard if there is gonna be a grand re-opening or anything like that. I imagine they would try and make a big deal of the mall re-opening, to get the locals to come back out in force like they used to back in the day. You know... ...before...

I had heard from some of my friends over at the Hotel that something like this was possibly in the works. So happy to see that something has finally been announced! I think that Dolly and the Gaylord company are an awesome team to put this together. I just wonder if Hershend is going to be involved in any sort of Management/ Partnership way? It will be nice to have a park here in Music City again. I wasn't here when Opryland was open, but I can tell you from all the people that I talk to here, that it is greatly missed. I am even more excited that we could see a re-emergence of some kind of Theme Park down the line if this venture is successful. That would be very nice. Very nice indeed! ^Oh, and Nashville Shores will be no competition to this at all. In fact, I see them more than likely closing their doors pretty quickly when this place opens.
