I'm counting down the days until October 26th. I really think that this HHN will be the best ever. I'm so glad I booked early.I can't wait to see The Thing Assimilation house. They really are pulling out all the stops for this one. I just wished that the could have added Michael Myers into the mix. What is Halloween without Michael? Oh well, maybe next year.

I live in Philadelphia, not far from Clementon, and it really is a ghetto park.If you go to screamscape.com, you will find out that Clementon has recently been sold and the new owners are looking to expand and clean the park up.Also, they might reopen Jack Rabbit if it can be done. It would be interesting to see this park take a new direction.

^We did get the express passes, freestylenut.The last time went was on a Sunday and it was pretty crowded but it was nice that we had express passes to bypass the lines.

Like I said, my husband and I are already booked at The Portifino Bay hotel and we are going on Sat and Sun(the 27th & 28th) to HHN. As soon as it was rumored that they were going to have a house based on 'The Thing' I booked my trip with my travel agent(which is my husband's aunt).That movie is a classic! Like I said in the other HHN forum, the special effects in that movie hold up well to this day. If you haven't seen it, you should check it out. Scares the crap out of me to this day. I can't wait!

OMG! I just read the story over at screamscape about the confirmation of 'The Thing' being a house and I just went totally insane! I can't wait. I am going to save that house as the last to visit so I can S@#! myself at the end of the night. They even said that they are going to use the same creepy music from the movie! Like I said,I'm already booked but I think I have to go 2 nights instead of the one. We have tickets for the 27th, we'll just have to get them for the 28th as well.I'll call my travel agent in the morning(she is my husband's aunt so we get great deals)! I hope to high heaven that they use John Carpenter's The Thing as a house attraction! That movie to this day scares the S#$% out of me and I'm 33 years old. If you haven't seen in a awhile or not at all, I suggest you check it. The special effects still amaze me after all these years and hold up very well for a film that came out in 1982. I mean digital and computer special effects are cool, but the effects in that movie take the cake. Amazing and spectacular is all I can say. My husband and I are already booked for the Portifino Bay Hotel and we will be celebrating our wedding anniversary on October 29 while we are down there. I can't wait!

You said that Morey's Piers talked about building a new coaster connecting two piers? Did he go into detail? I know that the 2 piers that are closest to each other are Morey's and the old Hunt's pier, maybe they will reopen The Golden Nugget after all, there has been talk of the Morey's family doing that for quite some time now. I hope so,I loved that ride as a kid. Wildwood does have some very long beaches, but there are ways to get to the beach without walking that far. You just have to know where to go. The beaches are very clean and free as opposed to some Jersey towns where they make you pay to go on the beach.WildWood is a great seaside resort with great places to eat and cool stores off of the boardwalk.We have a summer home down in WildWood and we have been going down there since I was a kid. I love it there. Next time you are Philly, let me know and I can give you a tour of the city or WildWood even, and I can show you off the beaten path of these 2 cities and show you some interesting places.My husband and I would be happy to be have you as our guests. Great report Robb! You always put together a wonderful TR and YES there should be a Pizza Hut and a sex shop on every corner in America. I would love it! And I'm a girl! What would make it even more fantastic if the sex shop delivered!!! I would never leave the house! Holy crap I think I'm all hot and bothered now thinking about food and sex! LOL! Congrats on your 1st TR. Every once in awhile, I'll gather up my nephews and nieces and take them to the local ghetto fairs that come to town. I love ghetto fairs. Sometimes they have really good carni food there like sausage and peppers sandwiches,MMMMMMMM!!! And funnel cake gotta grab me a funnel cake!!

I had a problem like that at SF Great Adventure that is why I won't go back there unless I get passes from my neighbor and the park is closed to the general public.It was the year Nitro opened and it was the end of the day.We had a pleasant day up until we were in line for Houdini's Great Escape. It was a bunch of young girls no older than 13to15 years in age.Pushed right past us to get to their friends. I complained to security and the ride op. They took the girls out of line. We went on the ride and when we got of security was waiting for us. The girl said that I assaulted(sp?) her while she was standing in line and they wanted to press charges against me and have me arrested. I lost it!! I said she was the one who punched me in the back to get to her friends and I pulled out my cellphone and called up a friend of mine who happenes to be a lawyer and said if you do arrest this girl without probable cause, this park will have a lawsuit on its hands so fast it make you dizzy.I had witnesses with me who said that she did hit me without justification. Well they let me go and then we left the park. I wrote a letter to management but nothing came of it.I hate kids today. I feel for you Jason. Parents need to teach their children manners. It took all my strenght not to actually punch that little B@#$% with all my might. That is why I go to DisneyWorld, Univerasal and HersheyPark, so I don't have to deal with riffraff scum of the earth that frequent SFGA!! Ireally don't know what is wrong with society today. Maybe there is something in the drinking water............

I agree with Guy.Like I said before I'm 33 years old and I love the HP series of movies and books. I also love Star Wars,ever since I've been a little girl. And look, it just celebrated 30 years. People are discovering different things all the time. Look at Superman, he has been around for at least 50 years, right? Same thing with Spider-Man. I don't have children, but if I do I'll pass along my HP books to them to discover for themselves. Not everybody is going to be happy about this, but that's life. Also another question, I know the HP series is owned by Warner Bros Studios and The Simpsons are owned by 20th Century Fox Studios, how come Universal is putting in other studios characters and images in their theme parks? Could someone clear this up for me because sometimes I'm a dummy ! Thanks
