  1. My ultimate goal=ride every roller coaster in the world (or at least listed on RCDB) But mostly... 1. Every Intamin Rocket/Hyper/good thing 2. Any B&M Hyper/good thing 3. Tatsu 4. Dragster (again) 5. Kingda Ka (again)
  2. ^It's not really the layout that bothers me, it's the fact that they don't care if people wait in a 2 hour line for a 15 second ride. They should at least make the ride longer or add some more trains (like a double loading station) or make the launch system more efficient (like make the catchcar come back to the station quicker than it does and reset quicker).
  3. That is a SWEET helix! I wanna get on that as soon as possible! But I know that I never will, so I cry!
  4. KK is the easiest coaster I've made. (aside from TTD) I've recreated it more than three times myself and they were all much better than that. it is better than other recreations I've seen here, though!
  5. no do you spit on your floor?
  6. Some pretty shitty ones, if you ask me!
  7. ^agree The track was overall terribly shaped The twist was too close to the top of the tower There are two waiting points on the launch track I liked how you used two stations Horrible up-twist Supports for tower were uneven and weren't shaped correctly. It had railings on the camelback This is my opinion but lims for the launch make it look less like a rocket coaster The upcurve and downcurve were shaped badly, too. Just some things you can improve on!
  8. 1 dollar for a Vekoma, because some dumb six flags park will buy it back for a lot and I'll be rich and still ride everything else. Would you rather get off a B&M or get on a Vekoma?
  9. Depends on who's with me. Do you intentionally walk into walls every thirty seconds?
  10. SFMM and Knott's (and Cliff's, of course)
  11. Blink Would you rather fall off a 1000 ft building and die or ride a Vekoma and die?
  12. Not really. Do you throw up constantly?
  13. This is one of the better rides I've been on aside from all the stuff you have to walk through before you ride. The limo design of the trains is really cool and the launch is not anything near as extreme as most of the stuff out there. It's just an instant jolt and then the acceleration is barely noticable. (This is my vague discription because last time I rode this was in 2001.
  14. To me the best coaster is the one that has the most amazing location, the best acceleration, the shorter lines, and overall a rather good theme. I'd say TTD fills the bill as my favorite and KK is still up there in my top 5. They are both very good rides, but I just think that TTD is better despite the fact that KK is taller and faster and has a few more brakes. Jason "why is this topic still going on?" S.
  15. I like how you put that support through the launch track to simulate a hydraulic launch! Really cool, I should try that!
  16. It pisses me off so much not to live near anything I hear about on this forum and not know about anything people are discussing (except the things I've been on, but I still want to ride them again).
  17. Expedition GE force, because you didn't say I had to be sitting next to them! HA!!!! I could care less if I met any celebrity! Would you rather be on the computer or with your girlfriend/boyfriend?
  18. ^doesn't it feel great to melt your mind in front of a computer blabbing on about coasters?
  19. Try the search link http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21682
  20. And a crappy attempt to display phyiscs knowledge at that. Since most (if not all) of these coasters don't accelerate uniformly (as most blatantly shown with Ka) you can't just divide the change by the time. - Joe, who's no physics whiz, but even I know that Actually, yes you can. That's how you can calculate the acceleration G forces. (average, at least) Basically, (because I don't smoke, never did, and never will in my live, but 420 is in fact the height of Top Thrill Dragster which is until further notice my favorite ride) you can take the maximum speed at the end of the launch, and divide it by the time of the launch. Take TTD for example (fine, I'll use 4 seconds), the ride accelerates to 120 in "4" seconds. Divide them and you get 30"mphps" (so to speak), and one G is about 20"mphps", so TTD accelerates (in this case) with 1.5 G's of acceleration to get to 120 mph.
  21. YAY, this is Rocet Coaster #10!!!!!! YAY!!!!!! we should celebrate!
