  1. Bringing this thread back from the dead because the ride is listed for sale... http://www.rides4u.com/view/2056
  2. I'm going to assume it is that way because they have yet to be adjusted.
  3. ^I don't think it really bothers anyone here. We're all just wondering what the heck is going on for it to take so long! I think we are also hoping they work out, as Gravity Group has been some great rides and we'd hate to see this mess hurt their business.
  4. ^Too bad it wasn't the Criss Angel theater... Anyways...here is what is or is not going on in Vegas at the moment: Fountainbleau...still an expensive eyesore. Venetian...still no condos! Speed: the Ride & unfinished skywheel...still rusting Speaking of Speed...this sign is all that remains SLS: Opening in 2014 without a gaming license (the owner is a shady nightclub operator who had to outsource the operation of the Sahara casino before he shut it down). This hotel is brought to you by foreign investors looking for citizenship. No Joke. One of these things is brand new. The other is a condemned building. You decide. The "Linq" between Ghetto and slightly less Ghetto is well underway High class food and retail for two low class hotels...brilliant! "Lipstick on a pig" is the perfect explanation for this photo. Same crappy Imperial Palace (ghetto rooms and TERRIBLE hotel layout and all), just slightly dressed up. On the bright side, Vegas will finally have an observation wheel. After like 12 failed attempts. And Binions is being gutted to become the Gansveroot hotel...say that 3 times fast! The Frontier site is still empty. And no visible start to Resorts World construction yet. The latest douchebag magnet, err, I mean club has finally opened at MGM. If EDM is your thing, this is the place to be. Speaking of nightclub, one will be opening right across from Lupo in a few weeks. This one is a partnership with Cirque, where each DJ will supposedly have a mini Cirque show designed for their set. Sounds slightly less douchey than a normal night club. Mandalay Bay is also jumping on the "Day Club" bandwagon. And by that, I mean adding a DJ to a pool and charging a ton of money for admission/cabanas/patio chairs...err, "day beds".
  5. ^I disagree. So long as the cities an venues keep changing up, I think it will be just as special. There's not a hockey fan in Southern California who will not want to be at this game. Plus the novelty of possibly playing hockey in "perfect" So Cal weather will surely draw TV ratings as well.
  6. More outdoor games are official! Jan 25th-Kings v Ducks @ Dodger Stadium March 1st-Hawks v. Penguins @ Soldier Field
  7. Worthy of discussion in the patent thread. There's really no basis for it to be discussed in the DLR thread.
  8. ^The food is really good. I'm glad I survived my visit to the place!
  9. Seems right in line with what that park would do, but a roller coaster wiki site is obviously not the best source until pictures or other confirmation pops up.
  10. ^I think he makes a valid point. Regardless of the reasons, 5 years is an awful lot of fine tuning...
  11. ^I could see Tower being grad night only, turning regular guests only towards T party. In other news: Disney announced Space Mountain will reopen this weekend.
  12. ^Apparently it will be Buena Vista Street, The Mad T Party area, and the Soarin' Attraction for regular guests.
  13. Soft opening started about a month before the official grand opening at USH, so we'll see if they follow that same schedule!
  14. ^Yes they did. That was the one thing that Raffi was rumored to have a hand in that "took away" from Haunt. Supposedly he didn't like how the Haunt overlays ruined the show for the daytime guests.
  15. ^Unless he hates his job, I doubt he is going to do anything to harm the parks biggest revenue generator. Haunt alone equals or exceeds the revenue from the entire first quarter of the year.
  16. Double posting because news has come out that the DCA all night event will NOT be all night. From 9pm-3am, most of the park will be closed for Grad Night guests only.
  17. Each every news article about the park gets shadier and shadier. Legitimate financial institutions won't give them the money they need? Turn to a "special investor financing group" with no details given. That to me screams high interest loans that are going to suck the park dry...
  18. ^We would if it was available on any of those channels last night...game 2 is on CNBC.
  19. Wish I knew what Quick was thinking playing the puck that way...
  20. The more I read about it, the more I think this is actually a smart pick for Chip. He knows Matt, having played against him. And his quotes make it seem as if he will be mixing elements of his system (faster tempo/quicker snaps) in with west coast and spread elements to fit the NFL.
  21. Aside from the one "OMFG" moment of airtime, it was a very mediocre ride.
  22. ^He does have Spinal Stenosis, which scares off some teams thinking he is only one flare up away from being a lost cause. Me personally? I agree with you. No matter how "sure" a draft pick is, the reality is a team is still taking a 50/50 chance on the guy, so why not chose the one with the best actual game film that fits your needs?
