Yes, the last episode was really funny. I especially loved the sausage eating, Charla in the knight costume falling on her face, and Charla telling Mirna off. I'm glad the Guidos are gone. I hope the final 3 are Charla and Mirna, Danny and Oswald, and Dustin and Candace. Uchenna and Joyce already got their million and I just don't care for Eric and Danielle(their arguing is quite amusing too though). Although I like Danny and Oswald a lot, I'd like to see an all female team win since that's never happened before.

The picture people seriously need to tone it down. We always split up to walk in since they don't usually bother single people. Well, this one guy got right in both of our faces and tried to block us from going by. All he did was annoy us and he didn't get our pictures. We don't need that kind of hassle every time we go to the park.

Geauga Lake Discussion Thread
Sue replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Sending it to Dorney is a smart move. Steel Venom is WAY better than anything at Dorney. I've been dying to have an impulse coaster closer to here and I'm thrilled that it's finally happening. People in this area have never seen anything like it and I'm sure it will be a hit. -
I don't care for Mirna, but I really like Charla. Even Rob and Amber said on the Morning Show on Monday that Mirna is very abrasive, but that Charla is a sweetheart. Not matter what, I'm sure their days are numbered since they keep coming in 2nd to last. Other than them, I'll probably root for Oswald and Danny. I do like Uchenna and Joyce, but they don't deserve to win a million a second time.

Ahhh, I loved it! So long, R&A! With their luck I was sure it would be a non-elimination leg, but I'm very glad it wasn't.

Did you happen to get any pictures of the new cabana boat? -
I wasn't specifically referencing the last leg when saying it gets boring to always have Rob and Amber in first. Sure, they definitely know how to play the game to come in first no matter what obstacles they encounter, but it would be nice to see other teams in first. It's more interesting to have teams even matched than to have one runaway team.
-
I really hate Rob and Amber. It makes for a very boring race when the same team keeps coming in first every week. The end of this last leg was pretty up in the air as to who would be last. I'm glad Drew and Kevin are out since they just needed to be put out of their misery. They've really gone downhill since they last raced. My favorite, Charla, better step up her game or she won't be there much longer.
-
I definitely think that they could've done a better job with choosing the teams. At the very least, I think they should've had one team from each race. As it stands, I think there's 2 or 3 Race's that don't have any teams on the All-Star Race.

Photo TR: Montu has a new coat of paint! (Completed)
Sue replied to Erik Johnson's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Great pictures, Erik! I read somewhere that they were also doing "queue adjustments" at Montu. Did they change anything with the queue line, or did they just touch it up? -
I'm suprised that Jonathan and Victoria didn't make the cut. At least Teri and Ian are quite amusing with their bickering.

CBS has the teams listed on their website. The season starts on 2/18. http://www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing_race11/ Sue

Derek, is there a place near here to get Redbach? I'm not a beer drinker, but that one sounds really good. My favorite alcoholic drink is the Jolly Rancher so I'd definitely like to try it. Sue

Some of the rides at Storybook Lane are Bubbles The Coaster, Rock N' Tug, Tilt-A-Whirl, Train, small Ferris Wheel, Sleigh ride, Antique Cars, and a Merry-Go-Round. As far as I know, adults can ride everything. It's mostly geared towards children, but it can be fun for adults too, especially when they're open in December when no other parks in the area are. Sue

Ackbar's Adventure Tours at BGA...

I agree. Questor was the best! I think Akbar is pretty good too though. Sue -
Have you ever had someone ask you...
Sue replied to MisterP's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I couldn't believe when someone asked us that the first time. That's just nerve! Why should I wait an extra train so they can ride together? If it's so important, they should've lined up properly to begin with and let someone in front of them if need be. Sue -
Our friends, Ed and Casey, from CT decided to head to Storybook Land in Cardiff, NJ back in December. Even though we had already been there before, we decided to join them. Christmas is a great time to visit this park since they do an awesome job with lights just about everywhere they could possibly put them. Plus, best of all, they have a coaster that operates in December! On to the pictures:

I was disappointed that Bama didn't win. It would've been nice to see an all female team win it for once instead of the young guys team. All-stars should be excellent! I hope Charla is back. I'd bet that Mr. wife-abuser Jonathan and Victoria will be back. Sue

Congrats to you and Elizabeth on your new addition! Sue

My closet coasters would be Rolling Thunder at SFGAd and Colossus at SFMM. RT was my first wooden coasters so that's special to me. I haven't been on Colossus that much, but I've enjoyed the couple rides I did get on it. Sue

Hey, Rich and I are in your pictures! I'm(my back) behind Anthony in the BD station and Rich is standing in the queue in the picture below. That's too bad you only got one ride on BD. It's been running very rough this year, but Sunday night was the best it's been in a while. They were afraid if they ran 2 trains it wouldn't last the night--unfortunately it didn't even last running one train. It suffered a major problem around 7 pm which closed it down for the night/season. Sue -
Six Flags 2007 Season Pass - Press release

I'm curious how this will work at a park like SFKK where the parking has nothing to do with the park itself? -

Sue replied to shesaidboom's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Not true. I know for a fact that they were closed both Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Although I don't agree with them closing the park, it is one of my favorite parks and Boulder Dash is my #1 coaster. If you're in the area again, you really should give them a second chance. Sue
