  1. I've never know a park to have any control over web boards.
  2. I don't know. How many parks are strapped for space?
  3. So the new Boardwalk BBQ footprint is much bigger than the old one. I knew it would be but didn't realize just how much bigger. In fact it almost touches the Dance Hall. It looks as if they have installed a rather permanent looking gate in between the two, as shown in the black circle. It doesn't look like the construction fence, as shown in the blue circle. I'm guessing that will be the employee gate to the locker rooms and employee grill. That means no more access through that area. That only goes to show exactly how much more room they have to work with. It's not just the old Boomerang and Rip Tide land, but all the land between Boomerang and the Sky Cabin And my money is still on the ride looping around Sky Cabin.
  4. I'm curious about loading and unloading. I assume it'll probably have some type of drop awsy floor similar to how inverted coasters do it.
  5. From the Glenwood Caverns facebook page. They say "Will you Dare to Drop? We are very, very close to opening the Haunted Mine Drop—the world's first drop ride to go underground. Keep watching our page for the big announcement!"
  6. The Dippin Dots guy told me they found Hoffa's body.
  7. ^ As an investor returning to a tried and true profitable relationship with Intamin would impress me more than any other maker. Gerstlauer wouldn't impress me because there isn't approved measure of success with it as far as CF goes.
  8. Who are you? I am the King of UN-substantiated opinions! The Master of Conjecture! The Supreme Hypothesizer! All speculation, guesswork, hunches or inference to anything that has not been proven true regarding all things in any way remotely related to amusement parks is my territory. Opine at your own risk, amateurs!!
  9. Doesn't count as a renewed relationship, IMO. For one, CF worked with them a year ago on a flat ride. Before that they did one coaster back in 2006. You don't renew a relationship with someone you worked with once. That doesn't even count as a relationship. Did you have a relationship with that one girl that you went on one date with a decade ago? No, it was one date. If you looked her up ten years later, does that count as renewal? Not in my book. I'm still calling an Intamin coaster more along the lines of Fahrenheit with the space saving vertical lift and a beyond 90 drop. And it stops at the top like a B&M dive coaster. The Ledge. I think Hang Time is for a flat ride.
  10. I see people are still believing the rumor about Kennywood.
  11. ^^ I agree. You don't renew relationship just because worked together once. That's not even a relationship. To me it implies that this was a company they had a long term ongoing relationship with that suddenly ended.
  12. I to agree that there is a lot more room than people think. I don't think it's a shuttle either. BTW today on the Knott's Nuts Facebook page someone posted that they saw what look like pieces of a ride across the street from Coast Rider this past weekend. They said it was blue and whitish in color. Of course they didn't gey any pics.
  13. Knott's has two Mack's built in the past decade. 2013 and 2008. It can't be Mack. My guess would be Intamin. Has CF even ever worked with Vekoma? I know there are lots of Vekoma's in CF parks but I believe they were already in those parks when CF aquired them.
  14. ^ I've been thinking. Renewed relationship could mean almost anything. Quimet could even be talking about in the entire history of their parks or just since CF took over. It could refer to working with on any ride or just coasters. Personally I think it's only CF history. I also believe that it is a company they haven't worked with at all in awhile, not just on coasters.
  15. So if this is true then it seems that Boom wasn't sold to park but to a ride dealer who then plans to sell it?
  16. I don't think the clue is the mountains but rather the trail in the picture. They are hinting at trsilblazer ie Railblazer.
  17. Station foundation? On that note, there is more and more evidence that CGA may very well get a Raptor. First there was SR1. Then the Railblazer name. Then a sign has popped on site that mentions a hiking trail. Now the teaser tweet with mountains. Railblazer, Trailblazer. Makes sense to me. So if , big if here, CGA is getting a Raptor that would be the new type of coaster. Leaving the renewed relationship, and maybe the Half Pipe name, to Knott's. If that relationship is Intamin then I pray to God Knott's doesn't a half pipe. No more shuttle coasters. However, if Knott's is getting any kind of LSM coaster it will need a big power plant and putting beneath the station mages the most sense.
  18. I just went back and found this video from April. It made four rotations. One getting up to speed. Two at full speed. And one slowing down. All rights to the channel 'Parks and Cons'. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
  19. I looked up Most Amusement Rides. I thought you were making a joke but that's a real company.
  20. Okay, an Inside Out theme doesn't really fit a roller coaster. However, if they fully enclosed the half tunnels, then added more of them especially to the launch, and included lighting effects, it could well fit a Buzz Lightyear theme. Not toy Buzz but "real" Buzz, like the opening scene from TS2 or the cartoon series.
  21. I think we’ve found Railblazer. Just how did you get that from that? Hiking a summit. Trailblazing a path..... ooooooh. Good one.
  22. Just a few days ago I joked that Paradise Pier had basically become California Adventure's version of Fantasyland. The question that I have is will Cars Land and A Bug's Land be integrated into the new Pixar land? Will any of the rides get a retheme? Speaking of Goofy's Sky School, I'm surprised they never enclosed it and made it a dark ride.
