Yeah, the coaster is death. But the park is awesome and tons of fun. And it has MEAT COW CAPSULE MACHINES!!! This is worth the visit right there. dt

These are the most accurate polls out there. I've been doing the wood one for awhile, but have never tackled the steel one, just because it seems like it would take forever. But I rode some really good ones this year (including Kawasemi), so I think I'll take the plunge. I can also say that horrible Chinese shuttle loop that almost collapsed on us will likely be at the bottom! dt

^That was one of my biggest coaster surprises last year. I got on it thinking "no way will this be good", but I ended up loving it. How Dollywood has an arrow looper that doesn't kill you is beyond me, but perhaps they need to share the secret... dt

All I can say is HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! This was not a good idea. I'm pretty sure my cats could manage a park better than these clowns. And they want to be paid more money for their failure? Here is a prime example of what is wrong with business today. This park should have never been built. So many things were wrong with this idea, that anyone with the slightest experience in the theme park industry could have pointed out to them. Oh, since it's now SBNO, I expect any day for ACErs that got the chance to ride the B&M to proclaim it the best thing ever. Which I'm sure it is not... dt

I have asked repeatedly for a park to add an adult bookstore to their offerings. Hopefully they will take up one of these awesome suggestions. It could only improve the place... dt

I don't own Wendy's. If I did, the food would be better, and there would be more promotions involving Ice Bat, dinosaurs, strippers, and death metal. This is probably among the many reasons why I'm not allowed to own a major corporation. Like Robb said, these trips are not expensive for what you get. I came home with so much extra money from the China trip, because we were fed so much during the trip I rarely had to spend my own money. They really are a good deal. dt

For those playing at home, I sent in deposits for Scandinavia, Deep South, and Texas. Now if only the person that swore they were going to go to Scandinavia would send in their deposit... dt

As someone that has to carry way too much medication with him at all times, and travels to various parts of the world every year, I can help you with this question. You should have no problem at the airport. If you use any liquid medication, you'll have to have it in a separate plastic bag for screening, but other than that it's no big deal. It is a good idea for you to have a letter from your doctor stating that you have to take these things with you, just in case you get a really annoying security person (I've never had to use mine, but it's still a good idea to carry one). I've never been questioned about any of my medical supplies, and this includes many visits to foreign countries. So this is nothing to worry about. At the parks, I either carry stuff I need in zippered cargo pockets on my shorts, or in a small bag (usually a TPR bag). Different parks have different policies about bags and other items, and these should be discussed on the trip forums long before you head out for the trip, so you'll know what you can carry around with you, or what you might have to store in a locker. But again, this is no big deal, just requires a little pre-planning. Hope this helps. Any other questions about this, ask away... dt

I have no opinion about this ride, other than I look forward to riding it. Those clamoring for an El Toro clone, well, I don't think you're going to get your wish any time soon. Even if the exchange rate somehow evens out making one of these coasters not as insanely expensive, I'm still convinced that no US park will ever build one of them again. I still think that if you want to experience new Intamin wood coasters, you're going to have to travel outside of the US. dt

There have been different people wearing Iron Maiden shirts. I think I wore mine one of the days. And Hooters has some of the worst food ever. Just horrible. All the food we had the rest of the week made up for that mistake, though. dt
