The cruise is amazing fun. This is the first one I've ever done, and I'm sure I'll be doing more. And I'm sure I'll drop five pounds when I get home just because there is not 24/7 access to food. Free pizza all day long is probably not a good idea... dt

Falafel and I got together today and watched the new DVD. We loved it. Very funny and lots of cool footage of one of the best trips I've ever taken. My only complaint would be that the Fuji-Q segment does not feature any footage of the park actually on fire and/or being destroyed by dinosaurs. Highly recommended!!! dt

Dream Theater is godly. I've seen them about ten times or so live. Always an amazing show. dt

Awesome update. I didn't got to Macau that day (went to Disney, which was amazing and empty!), and there is no way in hell I would have gone on any of those attractions on that tower (a regular set of stairs is frightening enough for me), but it's cool to see pictures of it. And great pics of the HK skyline, which was very impressive. I really liked HK and hope to visit again some day. dt

I use this speed test to check my connection when I'm having trouble or want to test something. And on a totally unrelated note (well, it's sort of related), I always like to recommend the VLC Media Player for playing back videos on my computers. I love it because it has played every video file I throw at it, and seems very stable. Just tossing that one out there. dt

Again, I can't imagine that this park is going to build anything even slightly significant until the whole issue of whether or not a football stadium will be built in the parking lot gets resolved. It just doesn't make sense for CF to dump money into the place if it's going to end up being sold to the city or closed so it can be knocked down to make a parking garage or whatever. I could always be wrong, of course, but this just makes sense to me... dt

No wonder my alcohol consumption is up... dt

The water vortex was the only reason to visit this attraction. This is not a good idea. And I've been predicting for years that Mythos will become a hamburger stand. I've gotten the feeling the management does not like the place, ever since they dumbed down the menu. The HP makeover will be the perfect reason to "re-theme" it. dt

As someone that worked at HP in the early 80's, I can tell you that there were plenty of times they only had two people in the station. And it was possible to run it with one person. Not a good idea, and a capacity nightmare, but I remember occasions where there would only be one person in the station, and they would have to unload the car, push it around to the load area, load it, then send it on its journey. This was not fun. They would drop the ride to a very small number of cars if they did this, so they totally didn't overwhelm the unlucky ones that got to staff the ride that day. HP management and staffing during those years was, um, not the best. dt
